Whoa! It looks like you really amped up the two handed skill here. This I can't wait to try the Fade Blast! One question though, where do I get that sword!?!

I'm actually really looking forward to this Specialization. I think this mixed with either Champion or Templar, both if available, just would destroy.

Let us discuss the short cooldowns on Juggernaut and Sweeping Strike.  I'm thinking Bioware's answer to the community's concerns about the overpowered mage is power creep as opposed to nerfing.

Not that I'm complaining.  I love me some cheese.  And nerfing the mage would just feel weird.  Imagine beating the game to get into the epic level expansion only to find your mage half as powerful as he was.

A spec that boosts attack speed? Yes please. I just hope it works along with momentum.

I'm actually very interested in the new Spirit Warrior specialization--not just mechanically, but story-wise. The Spirit Warrior description hints that the Chantry is very interested in the phenomenon of non-spell magical powers and non-mages channeling them, and seems to take offense at their templars not being the only people capable of it--I can just imagine how happy they'd be if magic spread beyond mages and templars, and irrevocably beyond their ability to control it. I find myself wanting to see how this non-spell, non-mage magic changes Thedas.

It actually reminds me of the old Phantasy Star series on the Sega Master System and Genesis--in the original Phantasy Star, magic required inborn ability to use, but between that game and its sequel, the first game's "mage" companion developed a simplified form of magic dubbed techniques that anyone could use, and they had in fact become widespread by Phantasy Star 2 (and in Phantasy Star 4, directly coexisted, with one of the characters being able to use both techniques and true magic as separate systems).

Also, the specialization stat boosts seem weird. I'd think it'd be a case of boosting Willpower and Mental Resistance (or perhaps Willpower or Magic and Stamina +10, or something like that), not Constitution and Physical Resistance.

Fade Burst

URL's not working. Fixed it for you.

http://social.biowar...ill:_Fade_Burst

Nice ability. A warrior AoE. And unlike the PoWoBlood one, doesn't drain health.

New Warrior Skill Peon's Plight. http://social.biowar...:_Peon's_Plight

Weirdly named ability, but basically an insta-kill for anything not yellow or orange, more or less. Interesting.

Plus, even gives the yellow or orange something to remember us by (double critical hit, nice).

I might start to like warriors a bit more in this expansion, after all.

Spirit warrior seems, cool, will propably take that for my dual wielding orlesian dwarf pal. The 2handed skill looked cool aswell.. Juggernat seems like a fun skill, but to be honest I wish they had different animation for it, perhaps running in the pose of shield stance or something..? Anyhow, cool enough for me.

I must say I'm liking the upgrade to warrior and rogue power in general, too. More AoEs, insta-kills, non-physical damage, and hallucinogens make me a happy panda and tells me the warriors and rogues are gonna rock pretty hardcore.

Also, I bet the Shadow's Pandemonium makes for awesome parties.

Spirit warrior looks great. And I am going to yell: "I am the Juggernaught, ****!" every time I use the skill.

Yeah.  I laugh every time I see it.  It looks like the bulk of the new animations are for dialogue and cutscenes.  A pity, but not entirely unexpected.

Badass 2 handed sword in the first shot.

Spirit warriors 'flirt with inhabitants of the fade in exchange for a glimpse of the mortal world?'

Yay for desire demon quickies!

OK, now we just need enemies that can run from the Juggernaut ability by walking through walls. (Yeah, I can't help but yell the line from X-Men 3 Last Stand every time I use it, too.)

It's like bowlingforferelden - but you don't need a cheat code. Just run and push everything out of your way, slamming them with your shield.

If I might quibble, it might seem a bit silly to be doable with a buckler or small shield, rather than a tower or kite shield..... :D
