How can a certain Sloth Demon drag your sorry dwarven ass into the fade? Plot hole, don't think to hard about it or you'll get a headache. Trust me on that.Eli-da-Mage wrote...
How can dwarves get spirit warrior if they have no connection to the fade?I wouldn't worry about that; you can't use them in Origins after all and as Awakening will bring our Warden to "epic" levels, I'm sure we'll be facing equally epic creatures.AndreaDraco wrote...
The new specialization seems really nice, if perhaps a bit too powerful.

awesome, can only hope that we get a new specilization point, or at least the ability to reset specilization points and give them to the two new ones. I'm already thinking of ditching my templer spec for a spirit warrior if the later is the case.

Dwarves do have souls, they just don't leave the body when they sleep. According to David Gaider though, they can be forced out of their body and put into the fade. That's the explaination according to DG.
From this I would assume that their souls can leave their body and enter the Fade when they die.

Didn't you already make deals with a few spirits when you were in the sloth demon's realm?

It could be considered as half and half, It is a completely new game and is set shortly after origins. It is not the sequel however and is downloadable.

It was a decision made by SCEE, not Bioware.

Very interesting. This must be Bioware's answer to players who wanted a Paladin-type class that combined melee with magic.
Sure, we have the Arcane Warrior already, but Arcane Warriors can't use any melee weapon talents; so they're essentially just mages in heavy armour. Finally we have a true sword-and-spell class!

Hey just when I was planning to unspec my two hand warrior into a dual wield.. well I still don't know if the new stuff makes up for the horrendous attack speed of two hand. Guess I gotta try both styles out once I can respec, and spirit warrior looking sweet.

Sweeping Strike looks horrid.
I don't need anyone to remind me that this is a fantasy game set in a fantastic universe, but up until this point they were at least attempting to maintain some semblence of realism. Apparently this design philosophy is out in the xpac and now we're even degenerating into Final Fantasy-style attacks.

I love the shield charge. I feel like an ogre tank. Although it looks like another useless sustained ability for a DW warrior. Rain of arrow looks wicked too.

Finally a decent specialization that evens out the overpowered mage !
This will balance things out for the warrior class, I seriously felt that the warrior class was left underpowered in DAO but with this new class I'll have a little fun.
Now i have to respect and focus on a willpower based character.
If you think this class is overpowered you can smell my balls. If this class is op and nerf this they should freakin nerf mages.
Warrior = 40-60 hours of gameplay without sidequest and ****
Mage = 25-30 hours of gameplay with a breeze.

I agree, the new conical two hander attack seems a bit unreal... Well unless
the body if the first target flies waaaaaay off! I can live with that... C'mon bioware where's the touch if realism!

To the ones wondering about souls and the Fade, there's no conclusive evidence in-game that dead people even have an afterlife, let alone that they enter the Fade. That's what the Chantry teaches, but as Morrigan points out in her banter your party has never encountered any (already) dead person inside the Fade, just dreamers and people haunted by Demons.
