Uh... What? You--male. Morrigan--female. That's the opposite of gay.

Morrigan will be back. Bioware has done this before. Refer to Viconia from Baldur's Gate II.
yeah both have the same mind-set if you.

The ritual was an intimate experience between a male and female. What exactly about that is homosexual? Did I miss something in the cut scene?

Maybe straight is the new gay? Like how purple is the new pink, or wast he new pink? I can't follow these trends! But yeah, perhaps that is what we are missing -- to today's kids, straight means gay and gay means straight. Bisexual... you don't even want to know what that means nowadays.

Also if you bring her along and you talk to her in the tower about the last night. If you're romancing , after the talk she turn friendly whatever your answers. So she basicly broke up with you.
But anyway .. Yes she used you.But she also saved your life.Although i find it weird that a witch living in a forest know about such a secret..It's not happenning very often a Warden have to kill a Archdemon.Even among the Warden , not every Warden know it.
It's pissed my main character off.But seriously. If you romance or friend with her.You can see .. She's not evil by any mean. She don't want to rule the world or destroy it..That not her kind. But she do want to survive. But unlike Flemeth .. i doubt she would do the same to her children..She hate her mother.Especialy after seing the world and becoming friend with someone.
Also if you soften her up .. she even said something like - There's worse thing than death(very seriously)!
One of the thing my Warden said and she laughed at it but now she said it herself!!
In DA2 Morrigan will probably be here. There's so much mystery and untold stuff. They just can't washes it up and move on.

Bada-BOOM!
It makes me think of that thread about metagaming on multiple playthroughs. My characters now show up to their room on the final night with a stack of papers, hushes Morrigan as soon as she starts and says:
"Yes yes. Here's a set of waivers I'll need your signature on absolving me of all responsibilities for support and obligation for the unholy spawn of our union, here after noted as 'the bastard'. Hey, we're not married right? Then look under the counter, the bondage gear is mandatory and we're not even getting warmed up until you've got the chaps and bunny ears on. That last requirement is you accepting that we'll send for Alistair when we're done. No, nothing super-kinky in that, just that I'm going to hit that sweet backside of yours so hard that only the future King will be able to get me back out. Like a broken shutter in a hurricane, all night long. Freaky sex with a guarantee of no long term commitment. At what point did you think this was going to require convincing me of anything? That I'm not going to die either is just a bonus.'

There's nothing gay about two heterosexual, consenting adults making love.
That may have been what the PC thought was going on, but I'm pretty sure the other possible partners would describe the situation a bit differently.
