Can you upload photos to the forum server?

How do you do it?  I don't see the option anywhere.

A lot of message boards don't have the option of uploading photos to your posts, and I'm sure that this board is no exception, given the immense amount of traffic that goes on. What you'll want to do is host your image on an image hosting site such as imgur or imageshack, then use the [IMG] tags to hotlink it into your post. Flickr and Photobucket I believe allow this as well, but you have to register to use those sites.

Yes, he also replied to you stating his use of IMG tags. In that particular example, he's hotlinking from an IGN site. If you right click the image and select "view image URL" or "copy image URL" you'll see that the image is actually being hosted at this website

So he is not "uploading" the picture to his post, he's doing what's called "hotlinking". Basically linking that picture directly to his post from another website.

I understand now.  I got my Gatling Gun in my post now in that thread.  Thanks again for help.:)
