Different models for different people. I thought it was a bit odd myself, but I'm not going to not use a kick-arse weapon because of the model if it's better than what I have.

It does remind me of equipment you find in mostly japanese mmorpgs.



But will one of my characters look badass with it? Hell yeah. Will I I have to see other people with the same sword running about? Probably not so I'll like for what it is.

I agree the ForkBlade looks ridiculous for this game. I wonder where it was looted from; maybe your party interrupted an Ogre's meal?

This sword looks like something you'd find in WoW, except twice that size and with colors that make it look like it was puked on by a rainbow. Still... even as it is I don't like the design - as someone else already stated, it is not a realistic design and those are the kinds I tend to favor myself for game weaponry.

Not that it really matters, since my warrior is going to be dual wield anyway, but that's just my two cents. xD

^Trying to make humour of some unsavoury experiences. Poor attempt I'll admit. I've found that many people who address others in that fashion have that kind of attitude. Don't take it personally.

I think it looks nice. I originally thought it was a screenshot from someone using a weapon made by modders until I saw the Dragon Age logo at the bottom left.



Anyhow, DA:O is a fantasy game so the devs could go crazy with the weapons since everything is "make believe" anyway.
