What are you thoughts on the Collectors if you have beaten Mass Effect 2? I think it would have been cooler if they were their own race, instead of being something else originally.

Also, sorry if this is an inappropriate question, but how do Collectors reproduce? Do they capture people and turn them into more Collectors? If so then that is really 'ghey'. I wish we would've seen more of them, doubt they'll be back in the third. Hopefully though I thought they were really badass enemies.

Mordin mentions that the Prothean's slowly lost their intelligence over several cloned generations. So it seems likely that the Reapers just continued to clone the Collectors ever since they started to mutate them. Thats their 'reproduction' now.
