Just a note, all of this is speculation on a twitter post, this is not any kind of fact

So on Christina Norman's Twitter (Lead ME2 Gameplay Designer for BioWare) She mentions that she "played a DLC mission at work that she thinks will make femshep players very, very, happy! "

I interpret this as, (here's the speculative jump) as there will be a DLC coming that we will get to find a cure for Thane's Kepral's Syndrome. Anyone else think this?
If not that, what else could it possibly be?

Hm thats interesting. I'm not a femshep that romanced Thane but if it does lead to that then it seems they may start the whole bridging ME2 to ME3 earlier than expected.

jacob and garrus are least likely, and kaidan seems hard to implement without an ash analogue, so thane is probably spot on.

Probably unlikely <_< but omg I would shell out $ for that.

I don't think they would add content just for Kaiden, and not any of the other LI's, so I rule that out.

As for Jacob or Garrus, I don't think there's much more to explore with those characters. When BioWare was making the Drell race, they stated specifically that the created Thane first and foremost as a potential love interest for Femsheps, and after leaking the concept art and seeing the overwhelming approval of the Forum community, decided to stick with it, I feel like BioWare is investing in Thane heavily.



The one problem that presented itself to the Community was the presence of Thane's illness, I can't think of any other issue that would "make femshep players very very happy", that is to say, exclusively femshep players

It could be a lot of things that make them happy

Ooo it would be awesome if it was for Kaiden. It could be something to do with he and Shepard getting back in contact after the end of ME2

Thane's illness seems like it would be something addressed in an actual expansion or as a mission in ME3.

But what were things that would make Femshep players UNHAPPY about the current state of affairs with ME2's content as is, that's the question you should be asking, and to that, I can really only think of Thane's illness

Well it's never mentioned what kind of DLC it is, or if it's part of a large pack, i.e. expansion, as you noted, which I think it is
