Can't speak for all femshep players out there of course, but if it was Kaidan centric or even just had Kaidan showing up to just say an apologetic hello I'd be as happy as can be.



I'm not getting my hopes up though. Hopefully it's something that will be a delight regardless what it entails.

- Jack introduces you to her good friend Riddick
- Jacob has an encounter with a space/time anomaly that fixes his proportions to something human-like, and changes his and FemShep's dialog

Even though I really, really want that DLC mission to be a cure for Thane, I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm more happy over that they've got more DLC missions planned, if it's not one for the firewalker missions she's talking about.

But a cure for thane is very realistic, I wouldn't be suprised if it involed mordin, he did find a cure to the plague on omega and found a way to protect ourselves for the seeker swarms.

I accounted for that much, at least; I've got 'male, favorite was Liara' and 'female, favorite was Liara' options. Not unexpectedly, 'female, Kaidan' and 'male, Liara' options are pulling ahead early.

What do you mean 'all of them'? I've got Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, Thane, Jacob, Kelly, and 'none of the above'. Only included actual romances, not possibilities; romances people want is another poll altogether. If you meant gender/romance combination, I do have all M/F combinations for each of the seven options, just didn't feel like typing them all out again when the link was right there.

Kelly is not a romance if I am correct.  But I asked the question because I  didn't see Ashley.

While Kelly is not technically a romance (no Paramour achievement, picture on desk isn't turned down) I feel that it's a case of technicality. You flirt with her, she takes off her clothes for you, it's a romance, in my book. And there are certainly people who just went with her over everyone else.
Ashley isn't a romance for female Shepards (hidden dialog notwithstanding).

I honestly don't see it as foreseeably anything else. It seems likely to do with romance as that is the only divide between male and female shepard. I'm not sure what a mission could have to do with the Garrus romance (he could just buy new armor or have it repaired easily, his face could be healed the same way shepard was) and the jacob romance seems not to be popular among female players anyway.

Yes, this is precisely what I mean. Norman said female shepard players, which leads me to believe female players which leads me to believe male love interests for female shepard. Probably something to do with Thane. Could be Kaidan, but then one would assume it would "have" to involve Ashley, which may overrule Norman saying female shepard players specifically.

I could see her comment as applying to new alliance (Ashley or Kaidan) romance content anyway.  If this new content involves the alliance love interest,  this would make many more femSheps happy than maleSheps, as guys generally preferred Liara to Ashley.  The tweet says it will make FemSheps happy, not that it won't necessarily make some MaleSheps happy as well.

The key word here is "mission," people. "Mission!"



It could be finding a cure for Thane; as the OP said, Bioware invested heavily into Thane, and killing him off so soon is unlikely. What I'm wondering is will the cure be implementing during this DLC or will it be implied that it will be implemented? Because they'll have to change Thane's dialogue.. I mean he can't still be mopey during the romance scene. Celebratory sex time!

Unless she was just playing as FemShep and it was a mission specifically related to Kaidan, in which case the *mission* she played would in fact make FemShep players happy even if the DLC also included an Ashley mission for ManSheps.

LI as master.

Even without a cure; doesn't Thane have another year, or so, before symptoms begin to debilitate him? If I'm not misremembering there, I'd say a surviving assassin will be in ME3, regardless, assuming it picks up right where ME2 ends, not that it'd feel right keeping him from mending his relationship with his offspring. (I expect all survivors to be there - some may become non-party NPCs throughout , depending on your decisions - admiral/representative Zorah, and so on...)

Cure research might not be only on Khaje, but for any that is, in addition to any drell/visitor biotopes on- and below surface, the Hammerhead should hover over water, perfectly fine. Alas, by the looks of the video shown, Firewalker seems very shoot'em-up oriented -- not precisely  the cup of tea enjoyed by my little minority of people, who greedily savour any non-action mission and likes to explore and jump out of the vehicle now and then for a quick stroll-around, all *gasp* Mako-like.

Never got why people keep whinging about male NPCs being whiners, probably some juvenile macho thing. Don't want to hear Alenko reluctantly recount bad experiences and sharing the wisdom he's taken from them, when they might have made him a bitter thug, instead? -Don't drag them out of him.

If we get no cure, a widowed Shepard at her in-some-capacity-spouse's
funeral would certainly make for an emotional introduction to ME3, by the way...
