Right, so that missions involves going to a barber who's evil and tries to kill you with his scissors. You survive and kill the barber. After you're done and back on the Normandy, you get a message from TIM who tells you that the Normandy has upgraded with the information found on the barber.

I doubt it has anything to do with Thane. If it was then it would make some FemSheps happy. It looks like she is talking about FemSheps in general. That could be anything. From new customization options to new FemShep animations.

symmetry is warranted because you either have Kaidan or you have Ashley.

symmetry is warranted because you either have Kaidan or you have Ashley.
but i don't see why they should have the exact same stories just because they are opposites. it would be nice to see each character have their own storylines instead of the symmetry. just because they are gender analogues doesn't mean they have to have identical narratives. in general, they do up until the point of the actual romance. kaidan has his brain camp stories and Ash has her family stories, so why do romances progress identically? personally i'd like to see more depth and diversity invested into all squad dialogues, as i find them pretty formulaic.
