To people saying it would ruin the tragedy of his character--well, there's a lot of ways you can play a cure. Perhaps he's far advanced enough that a cure would only mitigate damage and not totally fix him? Or the cure has crippling side effects? And there's certainly material for character revelations when a man who's done some terrible things in life and is ready to die suddenly has another 40-50 years of life ahead of him. Thane turned his life around hard when he found out he was going to die. What would happen if he found out he wasn't?

As do many others. Hence my comment. Prepare to be disappointed if you're expecting any content pertaining to love interests specifically, because ambiguity (and taking quotes out of context) is the whole point to speculation.

A Thane DLC I would want, but I hope a Liara DLC will be revealed after Redemption #4 comes out.

okay alittle negative, I felt pretty annoyed by the " choices" for Femshep in that, Most fot he males came across as mary sue's or not interesting in the slightest. Reason I still have not gotten Paramore, as I refuse to romance any of the options " and staying loyal to liara, nor kelly count SOOOOOOOOO...yeah think I'll have to do a reload play, or make a generic shep to do a romance with, then delete the save when I'm done....

Long story short, atleast in this femsheps perspective; If the STORY is interesting thats all good, I don't really care.
if it's fangirl service, then...yeah I could care less, this fan girl is highly turned off by angsty/emo would be heros...or characters your almost " forced" to be involved with going by the way your character comlpetely changes personality around them.

I doubt it will be content exclusive to Femsheps or focused entirely on the romance. I do expect it will relate to one of the male love interests. There's no other practical difference between the Sheps. Thane and Garrus are the most likely. Kaidan is tied to Ashley, if the mission involved him it would also involve her, so I doubt she would have made the comment about Femsheps.

Garrus' history is pretty well known, the most interesting parts were dealt with between both games and he doesn't have any other story hooks that I can think of. But it could be some kind of Omega expansion.

Thane's background has a lot more to mine. The Drell's compact with the Hanar, the current state of Rakhana, something involving his contacts or former contracts, and yeah, the sickness.

I'm also liking the idea that they might release post-game character based missions for all the squaddies.

Personally, I agree, but I didn't like that the writers thought it was a good idea to give Thane a death sentence in the first place...AND tack on the Carth Syndrome backstory as well.  It's kind of insulting to hear that they felt that *that* was catering to female fans.  Personally, I don't find being compared to a dead wife and tracking down a wayward son romantic.  Didn't think it was in KOTOR, didn't think Sky's extremely similar story was interesting in Jade Empire, and I don't find it cute that they did it again here.  Thane's pretty unique and cool without that stuff, they didn't need to go down that well worn path.

i really hope not. it would make everything the character is and has said null and void just for a wee bit of fan service. you cant just write this tragic figure destine to die after regaining his honor and then go olol we found a cure hes ok now nothing more to see here move on with life. Thane has to die inorder to fulfill his role.

What if Christina Norman in some sick demented way thinks that all the people here who complain that they can not play dress up with there squadmates are "FemSheps" and the mission gives you hard suits for your squad members, so to her it would make the "FemSheps" happy?

Sorry if this was already posted, too many posts to sift through. Maybe Femshep's dialogue will be fixed so she can talk to her crew without it being some kind of aggressive bid for sex. just saying.

Well, if it has to do with JUST Fem Sheps, we have to ask ourselves what experiences are unique to a Fem Shep? Its romances and...well, what else? A special female outfit? A "GI Jane" like quest to prove herself by doing pullups?

I laughed when I first played a Fem Shep.  Male Shep plays it sort of cool but female Shepard comes off as a horn dog.  Within the first conversation with Jacob you are basically asking "when can we get naked?".  I think even HIS character was disconcerted by that.

Vastly superior acting?  Perhaps Female Shepard gets to play Ophelia in Hamlet!
