I'm pretty sure she was talking about Kasumi's loyalty mission. You
apparently get to put on a suave disguise at one point, and I guess she
assumed that FemSheps would enjoy putting on a fancy dress in order to
infiltrate a high-class party.

You can't actually have conversations with her (much like Zaeed), so there will be no romance.

Then she is wrong. I already had my hopes set on curing Thane so this will just be a hugh disappointment for my femshep compared to that.

Well, unless the Kasumi mission contains the Thane cure some how. Christina just wasn't refering to an entire DLC module that concerned curing him.
