Twitter hinting @ Future DLC for Curing Thane?

But what were things that would make Femshep players UNHAPPY about the current state of affairs with ME2's content as is, that's the question you should be asking, and to that, I can really only think of Thane's illness


But, I hooked up with Thane solely because I figured he wouldnt be around by the time Liara rejoins us in ME3. If he gets a cure I'll hafta deal with all the drama!:(

Indeed the only thing that would make my femshep happy is to have Liara back. But that would apply to malesheps too that wished to have her back so I don't think its that unfortunately.

But back on topic... if there really is going to be a cure for Thane, I'd probably get it even though I'm playing as a male Shepard - that guy's cool, I think he's the only non-romance character that I could actually have more than four conversations with.

Just to note: It says "DLC mission", not just DLC or DLC pack. It's a seemingly tiny difference that could be nothing, but on the otherhand the Firewalker DLC is a 'mission pack' containing 5 missions. Presuming this DLC is something else (almost a certainty), then for all we know it is only part of a larger pack. Particularly as Bioware have said in the past they plan to release 'paid for' DLC at some point: One mission doesn't seem quite enough for that?

Not to mention a Thane exlclusive DLC is almost as restrictive and tightly focused as a Kaidan DLC would be.

My theory/hope is that it could be a DLC pack that brings in something new for all the LI's from ME1, a mission each would go a long way to sating the community's appetite and tying up some loose ends and it wouldn't have to be excessive in length. :ph34r:

...Or it could just be a 'Cure Thane Krios' mission to make him more viable for appearing in ME3. :wizard:

Well, I guess you could always just not get the DLC (or expansion or whatever). That is, if you can live with the guilt...

If it's optional you can just deal with the drama of letting him die.

Finding a cure for Thane would be nice I guess, but nothing I would be "very, very happy" about. I would certainly not pay for that DLC. :mellow:

I'd like to cure Thane but I romanced Garrus with my female Shepard so I'd prefer if it were about Garrus.

No no, you misread what she said

"Femshep players"

not, "female players"

I'm a guy, but I always play as a femshep, and I certainly don't want my favorite NPC dying ( I like the fantasy of a female heroine and I like Her VA better, but I digress :P Norman said Femshep players :P)

Curing Thane seems like too big a deal to stick in DLC, and as someone pointed out, it'd make Male sheps happy as well.

Anyway, these news do indeed make me really happy. Even if this DLC won't be for curing Thane, it seems to be something that's especially important for FemSheps, and that's great!
