She knows. She does so after the suicide mission. Once.
Yeah I don't get it either.

So the thing that Femsheps are supposed to be happy about is. . .
. . . a pretty party dress?

Interesting. I'm surprised that there's that much overlap between people who play games like Mass Effect and people who play games that are. . .  not.

I wonder why the Kasumi DLC is good news for FemSheps in particular...  I mean, the only gender-specific stuff in-game is 1) romance, and 2) the occasional jerkish NPC denigrating FemShep's soldierly toughness.  I wonder if the mission with Kasumi will give some kind of option for a way for Shep to fulfil it that's different (and cooler) for girls.  Though that seems like positive discrimination...

I'd certainly pay for that!

Pah! I'd really laugh if it was something like that.
Especially being a PC user. My wardrobe on the Normandy is already gigantic.

Mine too.  Modding ftw!

Personally, I'd prefer more plot and character interaction to a pretty dress.  BUT if I don't get a choice, I won't say no to the prettiness.  Just saying.

I hope the DLC is something different.

This! I did enjoy Thane's character it feels like it may make the transition easier (as far as story is concerned) to move back to your ME1 romance.

I don't see bioware doing this, they are typically very serious when it comes to claims they make (they made a "suicide mission" that you can in fact- die on)

And besides, why must it be romance related just because it is a girl thing? Huh? HUH?

Dude, it's DLC. That means it's optional, so if it is a cure, you don't have to get it. Hoping that there is no cure-DLC at all, just because you don't want it, takes away the option from those of us that do. Which sucks.

I suppose it's a mission for both malesheps and femsheps, so yeah! Might be a cure for my favorite Drell in the Galaxy. Not that I have met others 'cept his son.

I wonder if this additional DLC has something to do with some characters repeating that they will speak to you 'later'. Uhm... I mean, Jacob and Grunt have a final line that hints there's no more dialogue... why didn't they give one to the other squad-mates?

Since we'll be infiltrating a party, maybe you can bring along another Squadmate with you?
And you'd be wearing a dresss Femsheps so...
Garrus Tux? LI's get to slow dance? Kasumi: "Guys enough with the dancing, common we have things to steal! Guys? Seriously! Fate of the world is at stake? Screw it i'll do it myself. *grumbles*"
Maybe everyone will have a formal outfit to wear.

This mission will require extensive training from everyone! Now Grunt, the 3rd fork on the left is called the 'salad' fork. "This Fork Is Glorious! I could kill someone handily with this!"

How is a character with a fatal disease interesting if they never explore it any further in the story? Unless you think the DLC would be more interesting if instead of seeking a cure we just walk into the Life Support room and find him slumped over the table with his tongue hanging out?

You give the DLC far too much credit.
Most likely Shep will be going in on their own, like with the Morinth thing.

Agreed Angry one.
Now should we use Flamethrowers or Napalm air strikes?

There's no Thane DLC.  Our conclusion is that FemSheps will be happy either by the cocktail dress they will get to wear or by the flacid penis statue they can stare at.  Double happiness if they can stare at the statue while wearing the dress.

A thought occurs, it might also mean that FemShep has to seduce some smarmy James Bond type at the party.

Which is just dumb and sexist for so many reasons.

.. unless the James Bond type were actually voiced by Sean Connery.

I'm eagerly awaiting Fox News' special report on how Mass Effect 2 is secretly a flaccid-penis staring simulator.

Bioware says it's for wommens, but we know that's hogwash - they're all in the kitchen. The flaccid penisry and party dresses are actually for *gasp* THE GAYS!!!

It would be fair if DudeShep also has to seduce said smarmy James Bond type.
