The dwarf origins are probably the last I play, IF I play them. I think dwarves are way cool in this game but they are not a race I see myself in.
Are there any Origins you DON'T want to play?

I'll probably play the dalish and dwarf origins last, but I will eventually play them.

I used to not be interested in the Elf origins at all. Now though, I will probably play everything at least once. City Elf is probably the least appealing to me.

Im starting to think dalish and human noble will be the most boring.

The elven origins haven't piqued my interest. For awhile I was interested in the Alienage origin when the art of a blonde elf in a bloody wedding gown was released and the first details trickled out, but now that I know more it doesn't match up to my expectations.
That's a shame too, because for a moment there I thought it would snap me out of the apathy I've had towards elves ever since NWN soured me on them.

I'll play all of them at some point, but the Dwarven Origins are last on my list. They just have little appeal, especially as I made the mistake of reading them before playing the game.
I can understand why Bioware did that, but for me it ruined some of the excitement of getting to play through the Origins. Same for City Elf, that's second lowest on my list.
Mind you, I can see plenty of Origin-based modules being made, so I'm sure we'll never get tired of them, as once you've played through the standard ones there is DLC and user-made content to keep it fresh. ^^

I actually want to play through them all! I've never liked dwarves (and have often made fun of them incessantly), but in this game they actually look pretty neat!

I want to devour every bit of codex and lore this game has to offer.

Normally i´m no dwarf guy either, but here they are hopefully more interesting. Dalish Elves otherwise are so "meh" to me..

Playing as a Dwarf is always my last choice in anything. But, I will give both Dwarven Origins a try - just so I can experience the sheer quality that's bound to exist there!

I'd say the dwarven ones, because I'm not a fan of dwarves, but really, it's not that I don't like these origins, it's just that I like these the least. I'll certainly end up playing these origins, I'm sure of it, but not at first

I have almost no desire to play a mage.

I'll play them all eventually (I like to get my money's worth...) but I'm not that excited about playing the elf origins.

I don't usually play dwarves, but the dwarf noble seems somewhat interesting and the dwarf commoner seems rather fascinating. Those origins are compelling enough to convince me to play one eventually. I'm still looking for a hook with the Dalish Elves though. It's like they're standard reclusive "wood elf" types without any of the disrespect and strife which gives the City Elves such a cool "revenge factor" slant. I'd be interested in hearing from people who picked the Dalish as thier favorite origin story as to why they feel that way, because right now that is the only origin that doesn't draw me in or inspire me. Still looking for an RP hook with them.

While I understand that some would prefer not to play a certain origin, I think you would be doing yourself a disservice not playing them all through at least once. Not in anyway telling you how to play the game, but they are a rather essential part of the game itself.

Hmmm...I would say that the Mage one has no interest for me.
Though I may end up eating my words later, that's just my opinion at the time being.
I'll still give it a spin, but I can say that I am interested in the others more, especially the human noble and the city elf, simply because it's a different take on them.

It is a MUST for me to play every Origin and play them each as both genders. The differences will be worthwhile to note, particularly for the City Elf, IMO.
Is there a Origin story that I do not want to play? No. But my interest in the Human Noble and Dalish Elf aren't nearly as high as my interest in the other origins. I still am very eager to play them, though.

I agree with you 100% there! I think it would be very foolish to deprive yourself of the unique experiance of any of these origin stories and the way that the various ways the NPCs will react to your character based upon your origin and the choices you've made with each story.Deviija wrote...

Me personally, i'm not too interested in Dwarves but i will deffintely be playing both Noble and Common origins at least twice (probably even 4 or more times) just so i can see the male and female perspective (as well as good and evil).

The elf origins seem the least interesting ones to me. They just don't have much dynamic going for them plot-wise. I do think playing an elf has potential for opening many plot doors in the game, and hopefully it will end up being that way. I love the story behind the elves in Thedas, hopefully it will lead to some sort of redemption in the grand scheme of things. If not I might find myself making a mod for it.

Dalish Wild Elf really just doesn't interest me. I can't even put my finger on why I don't like that particular Origin.

It is perhaps the most interesting thing to my mind, that while most people are either ambivalent towards Dwarves or Elves, hardly any are not looking forward to the Human Origin, or the Mage Origin. XD
(Aside from a couple of exceptions, ofc)

The dwarf commoner and both elf origins are at the bottom of my list, but I will most likely be playing them as well. I will wait to see what others say about those 3 before I decide what my 4th playthrough will be.

I'm not interested in the dwarf origins. I'm not a fan of dwarves at all and will likely never play one ever.
