There aren't any of them that I don't want to play eventually. Some of them are lower on my list than others, certainly, but I intend to eventually get around to playing them. I originally thought I'd leave the dwarven ones for last, but now I'm not so sure. We'll see.
Are there any Origins you DON'T want to play?

I'm actually, for one of the very first times, interested in dwarves. The relegation of elves to serfdom (the closest word I have to what their place in society seems to be) is just as interesting. The human noble only has one thing drawing me to it, and that's Tim Curry voicing the Arl, Howe.
Dalish Elves don't interest me very much, because they're somewhat removed from the switch-around that hit Elves in DA:O. I'll likely be playing it at the very last.

I am trying to find the best combo- Origin to class. This is what I have come up with
Dwarf commoner -Warrior
Human female -- Mage
one of those wild elfves -- rogue
I wish there was some sort of priest/cleric for the noble dwarf because I want to know his story but I don't want him to be a rogue or play another warrior dwarf. Think I'll get my wish if I wait for some DLC?

Spirit Healer is kind of priest/cleric, you could say...but if not via DLC, probably via mods.

Dwarves have been my least favorite race in the past. However, all the races have been re-worked by Bioware and that's stimulated my interest in all of them. If Bioware keeps their promise that each origin will have a different and unique feel to them, it will seem like I purchased 6 games versus one. I've already created characters for each origin.

I'm another person who's never been interested in dwarves until this game. Now they're up the top of my to-play list. Dalish Elf didn't interest me that much until I was playing around with the Character Creator and created a Dalish I really love. The one I'm least interested in playing now is the Mage origin, nothing against the origin story but I've just never been into playing mage-types. I definately intend to play through all of them at least once though, hopefully twice to see how your gender changes things.

Perhaps it's just me, but I'm missing how the dwarves in DAO are any different from others in fantasy settings...slightly, perhaps, but not heaps.

Politics. In most fantasy settings, dwarven politics are short, simple, and to the point. Cutting off the hands of thieves, banishing those who break taboos, etc. The videos I've seen of the Dwarven Origins hint at a much deeper, multi-layered caste system with intricate politics that make dwarven society more of an intricate dance than a bar brawl. They seem the most thought-out of the races so far, though that may change once we get into the game.OwenM wrote...

What helps me play some of the races or classes that I can't relate to very well, is to base my character creation on the personality of a friend of mine. Then I play the game as them, making decisions and acting how I think they would act if playing the game. My mage is based on a female friend of mine who's very flirtatious and self center, but in a helping/health care profession. She'll be an interesting mage.

Dalish interests me the least. Suprisingly I'm really drawn to the Dwarf origins, and I never play them in games. I need to get my mage fix on my first play through though.

Yes, the politics appears slightly different, in a more stealthy/backstabbing kind of way. It just doesn't seem like the dwarves themselves are much different in any other respects. Which means that you get the same roleplaying experience, to me. I dunno. I'm still gonna play both of their Origins, of course. XD

I'm definitely playing all the origins, probably more than once. However, the order will be determined by the character concepts I have planned instead of which origin I find the most or least interesting. Currently I have strong character concepts for the city elf, mage and human noble origins, so even though human noble is the least interesting origin for me, I'll probably end up playing it before the Dalish elf or the dwarven origins, which is a bit of a shame.
As for hatin' the dwarves, I've never played a dwarf in my life, but I feel that Bioware did a fantastic job with DA:O dwarves. The culture is fascinating and they even look good
[Edit: the line break problem is really driving me nuts...]

I've never been a fan of Dwarves at all. Probably because I'm quite tall and quite fit, I tend to play as characters which look most like me.
That being said, I'm very interested in the Dwarf Commoner Origin, say, 3rd most interested after Human Noble, and Dalish Elf, roughly tied with Human Mage (I make a distinction between Elf and Human Mage because of the dynamics of being an Elf). Something about the caste system of Fereldan Dwarf society has me very interested in the Commoner Origin, and to a lesser extent the Dwarf Noble Origin.
I have absolutely no interest in the City Elf Origin, none whatsoever, if I ever do play through as a city elf it will be long after I've beaten all the other Origins. There is something about the way City Elves seems so pathetic and weak that puts me off them, and the whole "wedding" thing feels very heavy hearted, I'm not a particularly emotional open person and emotional drama tends to annoy me.
Then I'd say I'm next least interested in the Dwarf Noble, again I just plain don't like Dwarves. But if the Commoner Origin is as good as it looks, I might just forget about how little I like Dwarves and give the Dwarf Noble Origin a swing.

I'm not really interested in the dwarven commoner origin, but may whip up a character just to play through the origin chapter and lap up the "dwarf" atmosphere and lore. I will do this before starting with my real dwarven character, the noble warrior. From trash to noble should be an interesting contrast. But I have no intention to play the city elf at all. Forced marriage, abduction, intended gang rape ... that really crosses the line for me, I don't want that kind of thing in my gaming. Period. Even without these issues, it would be by far the least interesting origin for me.
The four I do want to play, and take through the whole game, in order of appeal:
1. dwarven noble
2. human noble
3./4. tie between mage and Dalish elf
The human noble will get played first, though, partly because of Dog, partly because she sticks closer to my usual personality/character preference, and partly because I have a nice balanced group for her whereas the dwarven noble may go for a mage-free challenge game later.

Thinking about the Origins stories in a different way (which may be similar to why Bioware chose them)...
Human Noble - forced to the outside (or be on the run), but probably the most integrated...
Dwarven Noble - privileged, but if you leave the dwarven lands, then you are "Sun-touched" and permanently separate (outside) of the "Stone"
Dwarven Commoner - thought of as a criminal, and in fact start out in a criminal organization. There are cultural avenues to increase status by either "marrying up" or becoming a Paragon.
City Elf - thought of as inferior, downtrodden... at least they are somewhat integrated in a way into non-elven society. Not meant for prominence.
Mage - metaphorical outsider
Dalish Elf - literal outsider

Daelish elves, only because they seem like the stereotypical fantasy elves. And even then, I'm still interested in playing it, just not as interested in it as the other origins.

I dont think i care for playing as a city elf to be honest. Even the dalish elves are not that appealing to me really. The only elven origin I will surely play (and I alreayd made up my char for that) is the elf mage origin.
Dwarves seem interesting enough and human noble will be just great.

The only ones I am not interested in are the dwarven origins. I usually don't play as a dwarf. Though I might possibly play the commoner origin. The noble one just rubs me the wrong way.

the city elfs dont appeal to me, and the dwarven nobles dont either. the human noble I like the mage, human noble, dwarf commoner and dalish elf a lot.
probably this:
1 Human noble
2 mage
3 dalish elf
4 dwarf commoner
5 dwarf noble
6 city elf
spot 234 are very close.

See I really like the city elf origin. Its a different take on the cookie cutter elves of most fantasy realms. Also being a historian in RL I like the comparison to other oppressed races in real world places and times.
Not sure if it will be my first path because I think I want to roll a mage first but the second may be a City Elf Rogue.
