I doubt Bioware would give female turians or female Salarians breasts, ones a reptile, the other is a egg laying amphibian.

Drell (despite being reptilian) are very humanoid so I can imagine them getting breasts.

Reptile and amphibian has no meaning in context of these aliens, I would wager. Aliens are not likely to follow the same rules as organisms on earth so much as they rigidly adhere to what reptilian/etc means on earth. Not to mention Bioware has a creative license on everything.

Yeah but if they don't nurse their young, why would they have mammary glands?

Why do so many people hate Kelly anyway? I like her. Sure she's a little...flirtatious and open about her sexuality, but that doesn't make her a bad person.

Tony Stark is a total ho and yet people still love HIM.

I don't think we have information on nursing regarding Turians and Salarians. Do we? Seems like a rather odd and unimportant fact to be in the codex.

Mamma(l)ry Glands are specifically for nursing... If Turians and Salarians nurse their young, as they're closer to lizards, they would excrete a substance from their skin.

Yeah, their children would lick them or something.

Female gamer I always pick Liara as my LI, I really did fall for her in ME1 she was sweet, cute, and was/is willing to go to the ends of the universe for you (even if you didn't romance her) I didn't hear about any of the other romance options doing that for Shep. So she always has an 1up to me in that regards.

Bioware just hasn't made an male LI in the Mass Effect series that has made me feel the same way about them as I do about Liara, which is a shame because I totally loved Alistair so I know they can do it.

Liara is the one character whos followers confuse me.

Why?

Liara has to be the worst character in ME1, easily.  Jenkins has more of a personality, and we get a whole 5 minutes of him.  She's completely bland and boring, and it kinda pulls you out of the game because I can't help but thinking that she's only here so we can bang a lesbian alien.

Well I can't say why the others like her but for me I found her very animated her facial expressions are very good in ME1, When she was shy or unsure about her self she would dip her head down and look up to you with her big blue eyes (My animation teacher says that dilated pupils is a sign of attraction in characters so I guess that could be an subtle way for them to get the player to choose her ) and her voice acting are some of the reasons why I liked her, Kaiden never interested me and we never really got much of an choice in ME1 when it came to romance so it was option A compared to option B I just liked B better.

Oh and I liked the Liara comic and her actions and feelings for Shepard regardless of her relationship to him/her, She has feelings towards you and will do what ever it takes to save you.

Double Standards.

Men want someone willing to sleep with anybody, because they're anybody. Then they want her to stop sleeping with anybony because they're somebody.

Sl_t has both 'positive' and negative connotations to its user/group depending on their personal opinions.

Good times huh?

Kaidan was a weird character too, but I liked him way more then Liara.  The idea that people get so crazy over one or the other is due to the lack of choice for Femshep is interesting.  It would also boost Liara's numbers because Ash isn't exactly popular (I like her).

Liara definately does the nerdy, very shy thing, and thats cute.  But it feels forced to me because thats ALL she is.  Its like from the moment she meets you everything is focused on Shepard.  I want to call it creepy, but creepy would be a good response since it would mean Bioware did a good job with the character.  Its just..weird.  Not right.  Off.

Different tastes I guess.

I personally consider Tony Stark a jackass anyway.

Now James Bond, there's a legitimate double-standard.

Thing is, Bond is always Bond.

Tony Stark is just http://tvtropes.org/...ithAHeartOfGold and is taking full advantage of http://tvtropes.org/...irlsWantBadBoys

There's more depth and development to Tony's character.

Turians are vaguely avian, so their sexual differences should be largely size and color, if we're going by the earth taxonomy.

However, Thane implies a few things about drell (live birth, able to eat whole food immediately, no form of puberty) that seems to mean that female drell wouldn't have breasts.

But you know they'll have them anyway, since they're basically humans with lizard skin and bug eyes.

Huh, would be interesting if the female Turians wer bigger than the males...somethings telling me we won't be seeing them either way, but still, this is an interesting thought.

btw, didn't mean to turn the thread into a mammary gland discussion lol. Image IPB

Let me start by saying that I am male, and I prefer playing male Shepards. That being said, my favorite LI for FemShep is Kaiden. I liked all three of the romance options in Mass Effect. I liked Kaiden more than Liara for FemShep and Ashley better than Liara for ManShep, but I liked Liara for both as well.

I liked all the ManShep LIs in Mass Effect 2 to a certain degree. I disliked Miranda early in the game, but she grew on me. When she told TIM that she resigned, I gained a great deal of respect for her. Tali was strange for me. She was like a little sister, but she was so cute I had trouble rejecting her. Jack was my least favorite of the LIs, but the Paragon romance was touching.

I disliked all the FemShep LIs in Mass Effect 2. Much like Tali, Garrus was like a brother, however, he lacked the cute factor, which just made it weird. I disliked the whole English Patient thing with Thane. Also, there was him using the same endearment he used for his dead wife and other statements that made my character feel that he was confusing the two. Plus the fact that he was "asleep" and just an instument to kill used by others, but he only killed bad people. Way to be accountable for your actions. The Jacob romance was just bad.

As for Kelly, I liked her. She is probably my favorite FemShep LI, but only by default. I liked the character, but it felt very shallow. I don't just mean the romance, I mean the character. She felt like she was tacked on for everyone who didn't like anyone else. I would like to see her character expanded though, with the equivilant to a loyalty mission or something. As it stands, my biggest interest in her is her ability to feed my fish.

I don't think Bioware likes Femsheps, if you look at all the LI's for them and compare to Maleshep's

ME1

Femshep's: Kaidan - L2 Biotic, prone to headaches, possible tumors in future

Maleshep's: Ashley - No health issues, well read (poetic) slight xenophobia maybe

Either: Liara: Young, growing, learning life (only 106)

ME2

Femshep's:

Garrus, nice personality, but no lips to kiss, metalic exoskeleton, not very hugable, cuddling be problematic.

Thane: Might be ok but for two reasons, 1. he's dieing, 2. as Mordin explains "Drell skin can cause

hallucinations if oral contact occurs". cheap drugs eh?

Jacob: Lights are on, no one home, Shepard is an intelligent, strong willed persona, Jacob doesn't

compliment it in the least, moron.

Maleshep's

Miranda: Intelligent, strong willed, good looking (created to be anyway)

Jack: borderline psychopath, give her time with Shep and might turn out ok. or might just shoot you.

Tali: intelligent, nice personality, but has to live in the suit.

There really isn't any Femshep LI's in ME2 that make any real sense or give you a

warm fuzzy feeling, have to worry if they are going to fall over dead on you, space any

kids you might have cause they are a moron, or accidently poke your eye out while sleeping.

SO! to answer the question, staying with Liara

How the hell is Jacob stupid?

This is worse then people saying Jacob is whiny because he expresses concerns about a few teammates. Teammates which, honestly, there should be some concern over.

Didn't say he was stupid, might have a brain cell or two, but his favorite line is "Space it" and you don't tell a
Quarian to introduce themselves to an AI.

Last I checked moron equated to a lack of intelligence, which equals stupid.

Its not like Tali wasn't gonna figure out there was an AI onboard.  This is alot better then Miranda betraying the Illusive Man after he relocates her sister.  Or Garus and Legion walking around in armor that doesn't fully protect them anymore.
