When I decided to buy Dragon Age: Origins, I went and finished the achievements in Dragon Age: Journeys so I could get all the bonus items. But I can't seem to get them into my DAO install. They're listed as PC/Mac - is that not the case?
DLC from Dragon Age: Journeys?

I'm not sure, I have not played it myself. Hopefully someone else may know the answer.

I think the only way to get new DLCs to work on the mac version is to download them yourself from the site and then install them manually (you need modazipin for that, which works pretty well).

Help please! I played through Journeys and cant find my DLC from it. The only place it shows up is on the Journeys page, where it states that I unlocked it. I've tried logging into DA from my EA Account profile, like it says to on that page, but I don't know how. I've opened up the Downloadable Content page on the main menu for the game, but the only tab I can view is the Installed Content page. I click on the Available Content tab and nothing happens. Am I missing something? Please help. Many thanks .

I did download the latest version of Modazipin. Now what do I do. I went to Dragon Age Wiki and looked at all the nice things you can get and when I click on them, a page opens up with a bunch of gobbly-****** on it.

hmm you must have some funky MIME-types or something
Just right-click on them or command-click and select "save link as" or "save target" something like that depending on your browser, that should download the files. What's happening now is that your browser is trying to open those files and so it spits out goobledigook since it can't read a .dazip file.

I can confirm that using the "save as" option in the browser gets you a .dazip file, which can be worked with using Modazipin. The items are then available in-game automatically. Thanks for the instructions.

Okay. Sorry for all the stupid noob type questions, but...
When I'm on the Dragon Age Wiki page with all the DLC on it, on what do I right-click to get file. I tried right-clicking on the yellow text "Embri's Many Pockets" and saving it as "Embri's_Many_Pockets" to my desk top and it show up as "Embri's_Many_Pockets.html". I tried right-clicking on the yellow text "installed manually" and save file as and the same thing happens. A window pops down say export as "Downloadable_content" and I save it to my desk top and, you guessed it, it shows up the same way as the previous one did: "Downloadable_content.html" *sigh* I feel like I am typing what my Grandmother was asking me when I helped her set up her new TV. I know I said that I was opening up a page with a bunch of unreadable text before, but now I can't even find that. Have you guessed my level of experience with computers yet? BTW, I'm using Safari and OS snow leopard if that helps with your advise. Many thanks again for all your patience and help.

What's happening is that the Dragon Age wikia is using some kind of outbound link warning to say you're leaving their servers and also give you another ad. This means the actual link no longer directly links to the file so what I was telling you no longer works, swear it used to though. In any case there's another place to find the links:
http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613
Follow that link to get to a bioware page listing the DLC on the server, it's a huge post so:
Command(Apple) + F and type in the search box ..4.1 and then click the arrow once in the search box, you should come up on a list like this:
DAO_PRC_OCP_2 - The Stone Prisoner Offer
DAO_PRC_CP_2 - The Stone Prisoner
DAO_PRC_ONRX_1 - Warden's Keep Offer
DAO_PRC_NRX_1 - Warden's Keep
DAO_PRC_OCP_1_1 - Return to Ostagar Offer
DAO_PRC_CP_1_1 - Return to Ostagar
DAO_PRC_PROMO_1 - Memory Band
... etc.
Find the DLC that you want and Right-Click on them and select "Download linked file as..." you should be getting a filename ending in .dazip. Now you should be able to just double click them and they'll open with modazipin and you're good to go.

On the Dragon Age Wiki Downloadable Content page, click on the link to any of the DLCs. This gets you to a page with an ad and a warning that "you are now leaving Wikia." There, you right-click the "skip this ad" button and select the "save as" option. That will save the linked .dazip file. Then proceed with the Modazipin step.

THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, you guys rock, hard. Thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for not flaming me or hosing me or any other slang for talking down to and insulting someone on the forums about their ignorance. And thank you for taking the time to hold my hand and walk me through it step-by-step.

Ditto on the thank you. This thread helped me install all the DLC content that was sitting in my Registered Game Promotions list.
Now I want more. Can I download and install any of the DLC that is not listed on my Registered Game Promotions page?
More specifically, there is DLC that was associated with certain promotional offers that are listed at the DA wiki site here;
http://dragonage.wik...oadable_content
I didn't take advantage of the promotional offer at the time. Can I download them now and use them?
Of course I'm referring to the DLC I don't have to pay for, eg;
The Edge
The Lion's Paw
Mark Of Vigilance
The Wicked oath
Bulwark of the True King
Pearl of the Anointed
Bregan's Bow
thanks

You can download almost all of them from the DA wiki site from free and install them with modazip.
However, the last three ones (Bulwark, Peal and Bow) won't work I guess, as the wiki states they need patch 1.03 of the game and DA:O for Mac is only 1.00
Unless the 1.03 comes to the Mac or DA:Awakening is released, they won't show up in your game.

So I'm confused. I managed to download and install most of the DLC (haven't done RTO yet), but how do I get authorized to use the ones that require it? I bought points and purchased the content I could find, but I don't know where to purchase some them as they aren't listed on the Addons page.
Blarg, I posted this in the wrong spot. Please ingore. I'll repost in the correct thread.
