i just read through this post,....i find it interesting that most* of the guys said Claudia and Corrine Kempa? as their favorite and most* of the girls said steve valentine. things to ponder. i also hope claudia comes back for DOA2 but until then, i hope they finally make the farscape webisodes.

I bet Wynne could turn it on if her role allowed it. Leliana has an intensely sexy greeting at 100% love. The rest of the time, she has a beautiful girly voice, but I think...it doesn't rattle me the way Lady of the Forest does. (Emma Fielding?) WOW. Talk about the sound of a lovely, mature woman. Would love to hear her VO in another, larger role in the future...

Steve Valentine! Claudia Black is also awesome, though. Heh, it's too bad Steve Blum plays a drunken dwarf and a krogan--his voice could be delicious in another context, I bet. I like Grunt's sound very much, although a humpbacked dinosaur is not exactly my definition of sexy...

Steve Valentine did a a stellar job! All the voice actors were marvelous, mind you, but Steve just nailed it. He gave the character a lot of emotional range and depth from silly to sweet to determined and down-to-business.

In my opinion, no game has better voice acting than dragon age. Leliana, Morrigan and Alistair are just perfect.

Corinne Kempa was great. Actually, all of the companion's voice actors were great but Leliana's managed subtleties and emotional twists through her tone which I really like.

I agree with you about her subtle changes of tone, expressing her emotions. A lovely soft voice too and a gentle accent.  When I first heard it, I though she had a very slight lisp. I didn't realise at the time it was supposed to be an Orlais (French?) accent!

She is my choice as favourite, but it was difficult to pick one voice actor because the overall standard is outstanding.

I also liked Aubrey Ashburn's singing in the game. She sang Leliana's Song. I thought it a pity that in the game, Leliana sings it only once but I've since found a mod that lets me ask her to sing it again anytime we're in camp.

Maybe it's just the fact that it's past one in the morning, but even though I don't think she was actually in DA, I still can't think of a sexier voice than Jennifer Hale's.



That aside, though, I do like Leliana's voice. It's cute and just fits perfectly when she is being her goofy yet heartwarming self.

As a long time fan of Simon Templeman's work he has my vote. I was lucky enough to even meet him on the set of Ally Mcbeal once.

I even found myself crushing on the Quarian he voiced in ME2. Didn't help that I kept picturing Loghain's face underneath that mask.

When I ran into the Quarian Admiral also voiced by him in Mass Effect 2, it was almost too much, considering it was a sort of Landsmeet situation! He uses almost the same voice, so with the Quarian distortion it was like listening to Darth Loghain.

Surprisingly, I didn't realize that Claudia Black was Admiral Xen until the ending credits.
