Cerberus should have remade Shepard as a Krogan.

Wrex was too powerful. Come on, a biotic Krogan, really? Where's the balance in that? Grunt's abilities make more sense to me. Jack can't regenerate health, and Grunt can't clear a path with a shockwave. That's how it ought to be, no?

So...Grunt is "greater than Wrex", because Wrex was "Too Awesome"?

Might want to take another stab at that.

Grunt has a habit of charging out of cover and nailing anyone too close, pretty cool, but sometimes he does it and gets shot by 5 other folks at once.

Wrex may have been a slightly cliched grizzled, old merc, but he had a personality that oozed awesome. Grunt is just "I don't know who I am, but I like to kill things." Then later he is "I know who I am now. I like to kill things."

Also, why does grunt wear armor made by Tony Stark? Seriously? "I am Iron Krogan!"

I think over all Wrex makes a more interesting character. He had his own defined personality (as a result of not being indoctrinated by nature of his creation). Grunt wins style points though. He's a much cooler/unique looking Krogan which I like a lot. I don't really think its fair to compare the two in combat because the two combat systems are so completely different between the two games.

My favorite part about Grunt is keeping him locked in his "cage".

There are biotic krogans in the game.Imagine that Grunt would have warp instead of concussive shot.Wouldnt that be good?

Grunt has tons of potential to be expanded. Those who say he was boring or had no personality don't realize that he hasn't been out in the world for that long, he has had no experiences, no likes or dislikes, he was more or less a newborn straight out of the tank and people expect him to have a personality like Wrex's (who by the way is a pretty cool dude but in no way holds up to Grunt for me). Human newborn's don't have elaborate personalities right off the bat, they develop who they are with age. Just my opinion though. I support Grunt as LI in ME3!

Yeah, I think Wrex is a more interesting character currently but I think he's pretty much grown as much as he has as a character.  Grunt still has some growing he can do as a character in my opinion so he can potentially end up as just as good as Wrex, maybe better since we see him grow from basically childhood to adulthood (in a short period of time.).

1. Hes an excitable little child! its hilarious to see him biting and shouting his way to a kill!
2. I AM KROGAN!
3. Both Wrex and Grunt simply say "Shepard."  something which makes me chuckle everytime.
4. Grunts armour is so cool! its smoot sharp and sophisticated, which is cool for a krodan.
5. Grunts voice is rather suave, whereas Wrex is all grizzly and badass, they would make interesting conversations.
6. Instead of a solid lump of bone on his forehead, grunt has loads of little scaley bits, think that looks cool
7. He looks up to Shepard like a father!
and FINALLY
8. His eyes are faily cool
as i come up with more ill post, what do you guys think about grunt and wrex?

nope.

1. an excitable child is better then the king of the krogans?
2. i am krogan! and now im dead.
3. grunt says "shepard" for one reawson and one reason only, because wrex said it first.
4. i guess berserker armor isnt all that great???
5. oh
6. ok
7. wrex doesnt look up to anyone. everyone looks up to wrex.
8. sure

well i thought i was going to have to defend wrex a little more, but thats was too easy.

wrex is king, grunt is a peon.

Wrex is better.

Why?

Biotics.

Yeah, Grunt has fortification, but Wrex can toss his enemies around and still take a bunch of damage.

Grunt's like a Vanguard without the biotics.

Wrex IS a Vanguard.

I like both, wrex more just because he has all the old war stories, Grunt has visions from the Warlord imprinted into his dna but he never really experienced them. It'd be interesting to see what Grunt looks like when he's matured (grown his face plate and back hump), he'll easily be the biggest Krogan we've seen as he's already taller than most Krogan when measured to the head. It's actually quite likely that Wrex may choose him as an heir if something were to happen to him in ME3 being that he's been accepted into Clan Urdnot, (if you didn't kill Wrex that is.)

I prefer Grunt due to just how excitable he is. After hearing about how he was designed as an "infant Krogan", I've started to try and imagine everything he says as if it was said by a human toddler.

I always take grunt on missions with bosses like the colossus or reaper. "This is why I follow you shepard, big things!"

I like Grunt, alot. He has potential to grow into great things as a character. But he's not quite there yet. Wrex, IMHO, has a more defined character, and he's a unique Krogan, one with the vision to try to unite his people, and the power and influence to make a fairly substantial stab at getting it done. Grunt is basically still a child, or a (very) young adult. He's full of fire and exuberance, but he doesn't have the seasoning that Wrex has yet.

So, I have to give the "coolness" factor to Wrex.

Combat-wise, Immunity > Fortification, and Warp/Throw > Concussive Shot. Inferno Ammo is very nice, though. Wrex is a great tank, a solid DPSer, with effective (if minor) CC abilities. Grunt isn't as good of a tank, but still strong in this area, with about equal DPS, but less CC. Concussive shot is ok, but not as good as Throw.

Thus, I have to give the "usefulness as a squadmate" edge to Wrex.

Overall, I prefer Wrex to Grunt, but given the choice, I'd take Grunt and Wrex, as an Adept Shepard. We'd own the galaxy.

ZMOG, I just had a vision of Wrex with Biotic Charge.

He was so deadly, in fact, that his enemies would go blind from
over-exposure to pure awesomeness!

I never really used wrex in ME1, though Grunt is usually in my party more frequently. I never really saw the point of a mage/warrior (biotic/krogan), since I could take a biotic-specialist like Liara along and act as the tank myself. In ME2, grunt sees more use (probably because I need a solid tank on insanity difficulty sometimes). In terms of character, Wrex has funny dialogue, but I enjoy Grunt's child-like enthusiasm far more.

I like Wrex a lot more, in fact i am annoyed with Grunt and i don´t like him much. I wish Grunt resembled more other Krogan in looks (even if he is tank bred) because for me he looks out of place with the other krogans. Also Wrex is a lot more powerful and smarter, he is a Krogan battlemaster... come on that is the most badass Krogan in the entire galaxy. It is like having an asari commando in the group.

Grunt is deliberately that way.  He's a child, the other Krogans in the series are adults.

Immunity was rediculous though.

Grunt doesn't have much personality, yet. But I am looking forward to see how he can develop in future games.

Wrex is overall more charming and funny.

They should definitely both be heavily involved the krogan part of the plot in ME3.

I think Grunt is a little overconfident and cocky, as most young krogan probably are. He can do some serious damage, but he could never match the experience and skill of Wrex. Also, Grunt would be looking up to a grizzled Battle-master like Wrex, which means even someone who likes Grunt would have to respect his opinion and like Wrex more.

No it doesn't.  Not at all.  My friend is a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers, but that doesn't mean I have to like the Jonas Brothers...  If it did we would not be friends anymore.

I was very honored to be Grunts krant but being Wrexs krant would be just too awesome.
