If you think about it it is more cannon due to the fact Arl Howl killed your family and was the master mind behide loghian bid for power

so what do you all think?

The canononical warden of which he refers to is simply their demo tester. They used him on the live demo. The reason he is human is because they are the most balanced race in the game not due to the storyline.

I thought you meant the warden. You simply said "it" is more canonical.

Regardless of your origin, Howe did both. He is referred to as the Teryn of Highever even if you are not a human noble.

Ah, well, you will see the events in all the origins take place simultaneously. The only one you never really hear about is the Dalish Origin. Events in the other ones are specifically mentioned throughout the game.

I see what you are saying but form my stand point only Human noble plight has a legitamnet tie in to killing howl beside the fact Anora is manipulative trick and played me like Dwarf noble would to get there way

I agree, it would be sweet if you got a cannon in Awakening if you are a Human Noble!!!

I've heard that the Qunari has got cannons, maybe you can buy one from them????

I can see why you may feel that way. It's true the Human Noble does have a personal connection to Howe while the others don't, but then the Dwarf origins each have a personal connection to Orzammar (more specifically Bhelen), the City Elf has a personal connection to Denerim and the whole Alienage slavery thing, etc. Basically, each origin has a personal connection to a different part of the story.

The Human Noble origin does seem more personal than the rest though given Howe's involvement

I enjoy all of the Origins thoroughly.

But I really do feel that the human noble is cannon, or would be if there was a cannon origin. All of the origins have ties in with different parts of the story, but the human noble has the strongest ties with the MAIN storyline.

I agree. If a book were ever to be written about this, the HN would probably be the main character. Possibly even a HNF, since she ties into the main storyline a bit better. What with marrying Alistair and all.

I like all of the origins as well, and they all tie into the plotlines well. But the HN is the most tightly knit into the storyline I feel.

Technically the correct word is canon. Not cannon, which is a heavy artillery weapon used in pirate ship battles and sieges.

No. The person mispelled it. The word for a storyline that is used in a novel or something is the canon.

A cannon is used to fire cannonballs at ships or fortresses. It's a warfare weapon.

Don't listen to these people. The Origin Cannon is the best weapon in the game.

Yea it does seem like Bioware is gearing up for the HMN to be their canon character, I just hope that if they expand on the story in later games or in books, they put in nods to the other origins and don't simply pretend they didn't exist.

I'm seriously hoping they choose the HNF for the canon character instead. They always make the canon characters male. But I feel like the female one fits the canon better, since she's more involved with Alistair usually.

They probably have the canon as male because Alistair can turn down the ritual but its your chice if a male sleeps with her or not.
