Justice will be the Spirit Warrior Trainer. Mhairi will be the Guardian and Oghren will be a berserker aswell as possibly having another spec if you import. A better question would be who is the 8th companion? Add Nathaniel and Justice to the world update list and theres still one sealed section. Mr or Miss 8 is more likely to be the Loghain style secret character.
8 companions ? You do not think is alot for an expension pack ?..take time to learning more on them, increase our approval with gift or dialogue for get their personal quest maybe etc..But we are too monopolized with the darkspawn mission for romantic things..hmm (but i dont says that for going back into the "no romance think" in awakening)..Just i think they says 5 new companions and one old from origins..
well we will see ..still waiting for an official information about the Who is this guy on the picture in the first page of this thread

But there are 8 slots on the world update and there has to be atleast 7. If you go to a thread called "So is Justice a secret companion?" there is a link to prima games which confirms Nathaniel Howe and Justice are companions.Mimo32 wrote...

I'm really excited about Nathaniel Howe. I have no idea how I'll handle it, but I really can't wait. Who needs romance when you've got potential like facing a family member and supporter of the man who murdered your parents? God, I love Bioware.

Encounter five all-new party members and an old favorite from Dragon Age: Origins
5 new + 1 old = 6 for me
And we already know 4 new ( Anders, Velanna, Mhairi, Sigrun) and the old (Oghren) ..so i suspect this howe family guy yes he is probably the last one..but for Justice and another secret one..maybe this is just temporary companions.

I so enjoy all this hate Howe is getting. It nurtures me.
I agree. I don't think my vengeance is over yet. He could be a wonderful guy, but the Howes still owe me a debt of blood.
So your going to take it out on Howe's son in law?
Half the people on these boards scare the hell out of me, and I hope none of them ever enter politics, killing random people for petty crimes because they look at them funny, killing people's relatives because they pissed them off, and blowing up useful buildings to the war effort because your boss is a dick are not exactly normal sane activities.
Oh yeah, I'm exactly like that in real life, a total sociopath. Except, no, it's actually an RPG, and my character happens to be a ******. Don't tell me you've never played as a Sith in Kotor and had Zaalbar kill Mission.

Anyhoo...
My character is not a ******, but she WILL murder anyone who was/is aligned with Howe. While I'm usually for saving/redeeming others in games, Howe's and Loghain's actions are inexusable to my HN.
Now excuse me while I go and set my neighbors' house on fire because his kid looked at me wrong.

Grats for not getting it.
All of those options are "good" they are what 90% of these boards "goody two shoes" characters did, and they will argue you to the ground that they are in fact pure christian things to have done, because the game told them to do them, and that is why they are right, and will always be right.
Amusingly, if your character is a sociopath, the worst thing you do is kill a few innocent people.
Back to my original point though, does nobody else feel Justice sounds like something a semi developing civilization would use as a name? Or something that a group that may have just gained sentience would use? It sounds very barbaric to me, especially since back in ye old days, before we had a real civilization, people didn't really have names, but named themselves after ideas, or objects, which fits the whole Justice thing.

Oh me too! I love that kinda tension - makes for great story telling even if I/my HN wind up despising the guy! Really hope he's a companion, the more difficult, hateful & complex the relationship... all the better! Cant wait!

Yep, that could be really cool ! but we still wait to know if all that is true

Sten is awesome. Earning his respect is one of the more challenging and thus one of the more rewarding things in the original game. Having him call you "kadan"... so worth it. Iankuu wrote...
I managed to develop Sten's respect highly enough for him to tell me about Asala...i find him really weird, as he doesn't like polite answers he likes rather mean ones...He stayed in camp a lot!
Now, as to this new Awakenings companion- I am excited that it might be Thomas Howe. I was hoping we'd encounter the Howe children in one form or another, especially with a HN character. Complicated history= awesome. If your character can forgive and take along an assassin that tried to kill you, certainly there are RP reasons a HN could find for taking along one who was in some ways just as much a victim of Rendon Howe as you were.

The Howe's are most likely still in vigils keep. This is going to be a huge effect on Male Noble PC. Who will most likely have the options;-
A) Kill the remaining Howes, which will result in Nathaniel turning on PC. And maybe earning the companion justice, as well Justice has been served.
And I've just gone completely off track and forgot what I was getting to. ;S whoops sorry guys.
