Ok....
I love ME.... I only like ME 2, I find it stupid that your elite super soldier dont know how to use a assult rifle or a sniper, specially one who was a Marine.
But I find it even more retarded that they would care so few clips with them.
My idea would be to make a new dlc that ctually lets you use your materials to increase the size of the clip (meaning more shots before reloading) and increase the amount of clips able to be held for each weapon.
Personally I would like to see a custom weapon loadout for each character. (meaning you are required to take a pistol and a heavy weapon, but then you can choose up top 3 other weapons. be it 1 weapon or 3 weapons. be it 2 more pistols or a shotgun sniper and AR.... as again I find it retarded that a elite soldier and Marine would have no training in those weapons.)
New DLC idea for weapon upgrade.

If you aren't the Soldier, you're a specialist. You're not "an elite super soldier", you're an elite military specialist. Not the same thing.
Plus, it's partially a class balance thing.
That said, there is a point in the main quest line where you can upgrade a weapon or get training in a new weapon.

Again Super is an Elite soldier. A freaking Marine.
A basic thing for Marines is knowlegde of weapons. Not just a couple weapons. But a large array of them.
Now while not all Marines are ace snipers, they all know how to use a scoped weapon, and pop someone in the head. (and seeing as ME 2 has simplified weapons and there are only 6 classes of weapons... Pistols, SMG, Shotgun, Assult rifles, Snipers & Heavy weapons and with so few variations excluding the heavy weapons one would think your Marine and Spectre would know how to handle all weapons.)
I find it completely imbalanced for ALL classes.
I also find is retarded that at the point in whick you are talking about you come accross a pile of weapons, (none of them you have) and you only take 1?!?!? WTF I would be scanning all 3 of them
I mean what the hell, your fighting a damn war and you already have to scrounge for weapons and ammo, so you leave a pile of new weapons on the ground instead of getting all three??

In a world without the array of biotic and tech powers you have in ME? The situation is not the same, deal with it.

Indeed. I can biotic punch someone's face, why would I need to be an expert in every weapon? My body IS a weapon! Guns are just something I use to compliment that.

I can see his point, but this is where we get to the class balancing and this is a videogame etc. I have heard in the game (me2) u can train on other weapons. In the interest of no hijacking this thread, can someone PM me & explain how & when? It does make sense that if your character in the game is an elite super soldier, he would be able to master any & all weapons he encountered. But it is a game....

You can increase the size of clips in ME2 with Upgrades. Just not the dlc items.
