I'm curious if its possible to get the cyborg scars to appear for a paragon shepard? I'd like to try recoloring them blue (ala Saren), which ought to be possible with the extractor mod tools, the problem is of course getting the scars to appear as a Paragon.
Does anyone have any knowledge on how to do this?

It's not so hard. Go to the kitchen, tell Mess Sergeant Gardner how you feel, and he'll offer to let you stick your head down the disposal.

The facial scars look ridiculous. You should not desire to see them regardless of your ethical alignment.

Unless I want my Shep to look like a husk.
You just wait. In the next game they'll reveal that Shepard was remade with the same tech the reapers bring husks back with.

They should at least have given paragons glowing (blue) eyes too. That's a pretty neat effect...

I wasn't fan of the whole Cybrog scar thing. It was not cool in KotOR, it was not cool in Jade Empire. I was freakin happy DA:O and ME did not have them. I guess someone at BW fell on their head and brought it back for ME2.

Grab a saved game editor, and set your Renegade score to 10,000 points, and then play the game as Paragon.
It's about the only way it'll work.

It may have been the lighting but I could swore my Shapard had glowing eyes. Not as pronounced as the rengades but the reason I think it may just be the lighting is I noticed it while he was standing in the shadow on the ship after the legion and tali fight.

It is possible to mod the coalesced.ini file to have the scars stay visible even as a paragon player.
You'll need the Editor by Iron Spine: http://social.biowar...t/1854/#details
- download, extract, open it and point it to the Mass Effect 2 root folder.
- in the left panel go to BIOGame > [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] > Scars or just search for 'scars'
- there are 5 scar 'stages'
I for example replaced 01 with 02, so even as a full paragon the scars are a little visible (tested this myself and it worked).
If you replace 05 with 01 the scars should be gone even as full renegade.
Please let me know if it works :-)

Thank you, I'll give it a try later today or tomorrow when I have the free time, sounds really cool! Also I notice that some of the categories specifically say 'female,' can I make scars not show up for the female char but appear for a male?
And if I were to open the scar texture in photoshop, would I be able to change it to blue? I know it would effect Renegade and Paragon, but I suppose I wouldn't mind.

Emissive=, Normal=and EyeEmissive= are for MaleShep
Female is declared extra. In the savegame files it's the same: not 'male' or 'female' just 'female? yes' or 'no'.
PS: Notice also the tags BIOG_HMM_ am _HMF_ ;-)

I'm very disappointed that it just doesn't let you keep the scars if you're slightly good. I have 3 full bars of Renegade, 1 full of Paragon... yet I only have the first evolution of scarring because the last one I got was the Paragon bar, so it reverted. It really should just take whichever is the highest and if the other goes over, switch to the other scarring pattern. I hate that if you wanna look badass you have to be Renegade exclusively cause the moment you get 1 paragon bar filled, it heals up to the previous stage. It's BS... I have mixed opinions on the many things in this game, I'll be an ass to people but not to friends.
