is it just me or does every Bioware Fantasy RPG have this setting or quest where you have to visit a creepy little village,where everybody have to marry their first cousin. And not lets forget they worship some kind of old god and they really like to sacrifice strangers.

I don't... remember... anything like that... in... Baldur's Gate? Oh no, wait, Ulgoth's beard houses a Tana'ri cult. Damn!

Well, this isn't even Bioware game, but I remember that in Oblivion, there is a place called Hackdirt, and the quest that's in that place is a reference to H.P. Lovecrafts Shadow Over Innsmouth. Anyhow, the place had some creepy cult and some people who lived underground were VERY creepy, especially since they had a lot bigger eyes than other people and were very aggressive towards the PC.



As for Bioware cults, I've only played DAO and ME, so I don't really know how much there are cults in their games. It's a popular theme, though.

It kind of reminded me of the Cannibals from Jade Empire, but that's only because they're untrusting and obviously sketchy.

I've never played a BioWare game before, but I found the cult of andraste to be one of the best sections of the game.



I can see how seeing it in every game would get tiresome though.

BGII didn't, unless you count Imnesvale - but that's just a small village with a dragon living in a nearby temple. Oh wait...

(The locals are not happy about that, though).

No matter where you go you always find a crazy ass cult so why not in the RPG world as well. Especially when there are so many more things to worhsip and praise. Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah Leader Leader Batman!!! I mean Leader
