Who all plans on putting together a group, or taking part in one through this site to help create some incredibly wicked DLC with the toolset that Bioware has so graciously bestowed upon us?
Ahhhhh, I can see it now.
The possibilities are endless.
I remeber the NWN community created some pretty insane stuff.
Hope DA:O's community will be the same.
:]

That is correct.

Although I've heard that Bioware is talking to Microsoft/Sony about getting User made content to consoles.

I think it's impossible to get the user made content to consoles.

Why would you say that?

I have to wait and see the toolset. NWN toolset was fine with me, but NWN 2 toolset was too complicated for a simple mind like me.

User content will have to be packaged together and submitted to Sony & Microsoft for approval before it can ever be downloaded onto a console. That's rather slow and cumbersome - not to mention expensive - but that's the way things stand now. Bioware have said that they are "exploring" ways of getting user content onto consoles though, so this may change.

At least for the Xbox, all content for console games needs to go through Micro$oft to be certified, pretty sure it needs to be paid for as well. Similar setup for Sony I believe.

I'd like there to be a console toolset, because my computer's not compatible with the game, so I'm gonna get the XBOX 360 game (which, as was mentioned, doesn't have a toolset).

Valve have a similar issue with trying to get Left 4 Dead user-made content onto the 360 version.

In particular, Microsoft's "DLC has to cost money" schtick. Though last I heard, Valve was planning on making it as cheap as they were allowed, and passing it on to the modders that produced the campaigns.
