The Final Battle:
As Alim kicked open the door to the roof of Fort Drakon the four companions paused watching as the Arch demon
crushed a crawling man with its claw. Alim was the first to speak “Let’s get this over with” they charged towards the Arch demon before getting close they were throw back by a Shadowy fireball hitting the ground, causing Leliana to fall unconscious as she hit the stone wall, Sten was the first up watching as Alistair and Alim regained their balance. They had regrouped and were dealing with a small group of Darkspawn that had jumped them before they started to battle their way towards Leliana, the Arch demon was pre-occupied with the group of Redcliffe soldiers. As they got there Leliana was pulling herself up Alim smiled with relief as he turned to face the arch Demon he and Alistair charged at him again, Alistair lifting his shield to block a few stray arrows when they get close enough they began franticly slashing at the Arch demon. Whilst Alistair was in front of the Arch Demon doing what he could to keep its attention on him, Leliana and Alim were at its back, There was a loud roar as Alim shouted at Leliana “Get down!” Before she could react she was swept off her feet and throw backwards,skidding across the floor as she crashed into several Redcliffe soldiers and Darkspawn, Alim paused looking over where he saw Leliana take off, unable to see her he felt a sudden panic as he shook his head saying to himself “She’s fine” he turned to face the Arch demon roaring as he charged closer diving onto its back quickly regaining his balance running along its spin towards the head, before he could get close he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder falling onto the back of the Arch demon and eventually falling off onto the hard stone floor.
He stood up slowly gritting his teeth as he pulled from his back an arrow, he yelled at Sten who ran over towards him, dropping his sword as he nodded at Alim, Alim took a few paces back, spinning the dagger around in his hand, he sprinted forward as he did Sten put his hands toward as Alim foot reach the hands, Sten roared as he pushed with all his strength sending Alim flying towards the Arch demon he had landed on the back of the dragon, driving the dagger in a downward thrust, as the dagger pierced the skin there was a loud Screech as the Arch demon began swinging its head around, causing Alim to come crashing onto the ground he looked up to see the Arch demon on its side he jumped up and with the last of his strength ran towards the Arch demon pulling a Sword from the corpse of a Darkspawn as the Arch demon lifted its head he swung the blade down slicing along it soft neck as it fell to the ground once more he lifted the blade in the air and with a roar drove it down into the beasts head, between its eyes.
The moment the blade hit the flesh of the Arch demon there was a ray of light coming from the Corpse of the Arch demon which was so bright the Companions and soldier had to cover their eyes there was a loud scream of pain as Alim held onto the blade, His skin burning and then there was a loud bang and everyone upon the roof was thrown backwards. As Alistair regained his balance he looked around to see the Darkspawn fleeing from the rooftops and the few soldiers left standing up he could also see Sten slowly standing moving over towards his blade but as he looked over towards the Arch demon he saw Alim’s lifeless body on the floor.
