I was wondering if anything replaces the photo on the desk if you had no LI in ME1.  Also, does anyone know how NOT to have a LI in ME1?  Kaiden, Ashley, and Liara seem to always get the wrong idea when I'm just trying to be nice.

Nothing...although I can't remember if there it is completely barren or if the picture fram is laying down.

I've never had an LI in ME1... and my desk has medals, my private terminal, and a comm to call Tali up... other than that it's empty.

As for the no LI thing, you just have to be an arse to them at the right points. It's annoying, but the only option. At least Liara has a very clear "I'm not interested" option.

nothing, it just has miranda talking too you about the 2 hour wait and that were all ready shepard, then it shows the normandy aproaching the omega 4 relay, i saw it on youtube, nothing special

no, you can also just not talk too them, no talking means no relations, you obviousley would not know

The easiest way is to straight up tell Liara you're not interested (you can stop her dead in her tracks with a much clearer dialogue option than the other two), and get the appropriate one of Ashley/Kaidan killed on Virmire.

Yeah, on my "bachelor" playthroughs, I just flat out ignored the two possible love interests. No romances, and no feelings hurt.

If you do the Normandy crash site DLC, you can pick up Shepard's old N7 helmet. That goes on the desk next to where the picture would be; it's the only thing there on my 'no ME1 romance' Shep.
