only thing im not liking about this cleric build i did is that i neglected miasma thinking i would not MT and went Willpower and Magic with no Con so he is a terrible dragon killer cause hes half HP with one tail swipe. he cant stand up in melee with a dragon so i think im starting over. I mean he is not BAD he has not died once just a bit squish without shimmering shield.
What really makes it BLEH is that the only instant offensive dps cast i really have is arcane bolt. so I just sit out there against a dragon while allistair tanks and heal/toss arcane bolt...I am going double healer with wynn....maybe i should replace her so i feel less useless against dragons.
My Blood MAge/AW had Miasma and more defensive sustainables and he was a beast, I guess I had not planned on him tanking...dunno what I was thinking it had been a while and forgot how massive/heavy armor attracts enemies...again he doesnt die i just heal through it....what do you guys think.
should i start again? AW/ SH build works fine...just im not happy (no deaths so far)

well maybe im doing something wrong? I read a post this guy was saying how his AW/SH was great despite having only a HP pool of about 160. The only thing I dont have as a sustainable is Rock Armor and Miasma...maybe im just playing it wrong...or maybe not I have not died lol no idea...and I can easily get rock armor next level.

Shimmering Shield and Fade Shroud should reduce the damage you take greatly, at level 16 you will become pretty much invincible. What level are you now?

I have the same thing going on. My AW/SH is level 16 and she has never died before, but it is no fun to play. She has a very defensive build so it is not very exciting during fights, the only difference with a normal mage is that she is wearing armor and that she switches to AW whenever she gets (melee) attacked.
My AW has no rock armor and miasma, so as far as I can tell you don't really need them.
Being an AW and SH at the same time works, but being a BM is much more fun.

meh ive been playing more just got shimmering so when i take aggro i pop it and it works well. so no complaints lol
