I like Dwarfs and Humans. I don't plan to play as an Elf, though I might eventually just to experience more of the game's origins. I think I prefer Dwarfs the most. Dwarfs and Humans are stuck with 2 origins each. Why do the Elfs get more origins?

Mage isn't a race exclusive origin. A better question might be "Why do humans only get one origin?"
The answer would be that one got cut, if I remember right.

Because there are City Elves, and Dalish elves, and Magi elves. Dwarves cannot be magi, and they didn't want to put in the Human Commoner Origin due to Child of Destiny trope. Get over it.

Mage count's as a second Human origins because they can be a mage when selecting it, play through the mage origin as a human, and such.

Yeah, I know. I meant that the elves and dwarves both have two origins to themselves, whereas the humans only have one that's exclusive to them.

2 elven origins work fine we get to see the wild elves and the ones *trapped* to live in the poor alianages.. Maybe we get a new human origin as a DLC who knows..

What I do find kind off a shame is that there is no human commonner.
