Jack is actually fairly flat-chested, it's just harder to tell since they're so in your face. At least they only tried to sell the belt costume on a b-cup, if she was Samara's size I would be facepalming too hard to play the game.Marstead wrote...
Samara and Jack kind of annoy me in that respect, because for the most part the Mass Effect universe is impressively modest. Most women look realistic if downright average-looking. Female Commander Shepard has perfectly acceptably sized jugs, unlike literally every other female protagonist ever made.
Miranda makes sense from a plot perspective because she's genetically enhanced, but Jack just looks stupid and Samara has no excuse as a goddamned religious monk.
To the person who mentioned that Jack was originally supposed to have been topless with the tattoos as a kind of body paint shirt, that actually would have been really cool and I wouldn't have thought it was as trashy.
But Samara? Hers is just crazy. She's way too busty to have armor that open. Comfort and 'slippage' issues aside, the fact that the armor is specifically shaped to her individual breasts is kind of immersion-breaking. Where the hell did she find that tailor?
(...I feel like I should mention that I'm female here, to justify my experience or something)

We have dismissed those claims.

Also agree on Samara. She doesn't need to advertise like that, it doesn't seem to fit her character.

But yeah, I agree with the OP.

Agreed..... And some of those color swaps were really irrelevant. The colors just changed to a slightly darker of lighter tone.
For reals, I still see no difference when I change Thane's at all. It's suppose to be white, instead it just shines a little more, really pointless.
I agree OP. I always change hers, the others I will usually leave alone, except Miranda's, she just looks better in in black for some reason. I guess it just matches her soul...

I have to disagree. She has an absolutely beautiful face, and while the shaved head doesn't work for a lot of women, it works for her.BigBody26 wrote...
There is nothing attractive about Jacks character. She is a cool character and I enjoy her stories and what not.....but on a scale of 1 - 10 for attractiveness she is a -4
Once I did her LM and she got that top, I started to appreciate her more. I couldn't take her seriously with the suspenders for a bra.

Samara's outfit isn't much better. I feel like I should be able to respect this dedicated and refined Asari warrior. Yet her outfit prevents me from doing so. Morinth has a more modest outfit than her. It feels like it should be the opposite.

I was liking the costume on the left until I realized the blue parts on the hips were cutouts. Seriously, dudes, you can design a female costume without getting completely ridiculous.
Though I have the distinct feeling Samara is supposed to be a superhero deconstruction; red, blue, and yellow costume, is able to fly, triangular design on chest, strict moral code, little kids want to grow up to be like her...sounds kind of familiar...

Samara's look is indeed ridiculous. I don't mind the boob size, plenty of women are naturally well-endowed while having a narrow ribcage, but the split in her clothing.. yeah, quite silly.

Ha ya it's not just a different colored belt bra.
But I agree that her alternate outfit is much better than her starting outfit. The whole point of just wearing a belt bra is to show off her tattoos. But I still like her alternate outfit better. I find it more attractive than just revealing almost everything.

Honestly Jack would have, in my opinion, looked better if she was just topless with more tattoos to "cover" herself. It would look better than that ridiculous leather belt thing.
I think that was the original plan, because she is topless in some concept art picture I saw. But I assume it just didn't work out to well with the finished model, or some higher ups (if you know what I mean) disapproved of it.

...I suppose I must be one of the few straight women who really likes Jack's pre-loyalty look. When she was first revealed, I had a fairly strong negative reaction. If she didn't have the tattoos, I'd probably still be pretty disgusted with her. But once I got used to her look and attitude, I discovered I very much enjoy the character. She's fit enough and small enough in the bust to pull off the look. And I don't think of it as being whorish so much as that's simply the most efficient way to show off all of her tattoos.

The split in Samara's outfit is silly but Jack's outfit isn't?
????
Granted I dislike both, but Jack's is definitely more over the top.

It's the split with those giant boobs. One or the other would be fine, like split with modest boobage or covered-ish with large boobage.
Jack's not going to be bouncing all over the place because hers are not only barely there to begin with but 'covered' with ink. Hardly noticeable and therefore hardly offensive, at least in my eyes.

Anywho, I could give a crap about her strap nip cover uppers, I couldn't stand looking at all those tattoos... I figure if you wanna cover up your body with something, wear a shirt.

I thought the leather strap was for carrying her guns? You'd need something to mount them on if you're not wearing power armor.Shep309 wrote...

*nods* Jack's original outfit wasn't sexy at all, it just announced that she had no self-respect. The loyalty outfit is much more attractive.
Well, she didn't really have any until the loyalty missions so... points to the writing team?
Pretty much all of the loyalty outfits are an improvement, makes your team look like... a team. Even if they're all decked out in cerberus-brand jumpsuits.

That is because of your own preconceptions. Asari have a very different culture and (lack of puritan) morality to most humans.JohnnyDollar wrote...
At least Jacks's outfit fits her character somewhat. Where as the whole cleavage silicone high heels image doesn't fit with a highly respected wise Asari Justicar at all to me.
As for Jack, love her to death, but can't stand the nipple belts. Eventhough it fits her character, it's simply too much in your face. Hoping for a little more covered up versions in ME3.
