I still think that in field of breast size no Asari will surpass Benezia for a looong time.

I still can't forget Liara's face when she saw her mother for the first time since 50 years (if i am not mistaken) wearing that tight dress...

I hated the alternate outfit. I never used it on her

I like boobs, but sadly Jack doesn't have any. :(

Oh, and Tali does? hahaha. Tali could be a she-male with a predator face for all we know

There is nothing attractive about Jacks
character. She is a cool character and I enjoy her stories and what
not.....but on a scale of 1 - 10 for attractiveness she is a -4

Jack's outfits (especially the standard one) make me wonder how she isn't incredibly cold all the time. I suppose we didn't go to any ice planets in ME2 but still...if I wore nothing but belts across my chest I'd literally be freezing my ****** off.

Everything can be explained with the "mass effect field" theory. I thought you knew that?. :P

As to Jack's 2nd outfit, i think it was poorly made.
Just slap some skinny black shirt on that seem utterly out of context and dosnt clip well in close-ups.

The new jeans color were a nice touch, but the sloppy "leathery" shirt is just blah.

Same thing with Grunt's 2nd outfit, looks like some bad darkish plastic rubbery color.. thing!.

It's the same with EVERY alternate outfit

What possible purpose could it have, and how the hell does it stay in position?

Space Duct Tape

Given her personality, I did ponder the possibility that the straps might be held in place by piercings. Would make sense in some way or another. It's not as if Jack would be one to shy away from a "bit" of pain *shrugs* (and yes, I know how awfully painful it can be if... *shudders*)

Anyway, on topic:
I didn't exactly like Jack's pre-loyalty outfit, although I have to admit it works for her, due to her more normal boob size. I was thrilled that I could cover it up after doing her loyalty mission, but the shirt looked so awful I decided to just leave her half-naked anyway. Lesser of two evils, so to speak.
However, the most hideous and wrong costume? Samara's, easily. Those huge fake boobs really don't go well with it.

Edit:
Also, what's with all the people saying Jack has no boobs? Ugh, I hate this creepy fascination over huge boobs :(

While I don't like Jack's original outfit at all, I can at least understand the idea behind it, at least, if I'm right about what the idea behind it was. I think the strap-top look was intended as a way of displaying her tattoos, since she seemed to take such pride in them. After her "soul-cleansing" in her LM, she "put her past behind her" so to speak, and so she's more willing to cover up her "past," ie her tattoos. Thus, she gets a shirt as a new outfit.

Ya I think that's exactly what BioWare was going for.

I don't like Jack's original outfit. But the loyalty one? Even worse. I am all for covering more skin, but that black vest looks like somebody spent the whole of, oh, maybe 15 minutes designing it.

It's just a small black vest how long should it take?

I quite like Samara's outfit (the pre-loyalty version makes her look like an ambulatory strawberry mind you), but considering how big she is up front, all it does is scream 'check out my knockers'. And high heels in combat? She must use biotics just to stay balanced!

I disagree I found Grunt's loyalty outfit to be the best one.

And the high heels can be explained with biotics while the exposure of skin can be explained with mass effect fields.

I'm not completely against showing off all her tattoos. Again, I would prefer she be completely topless as opposed to having that stupid belt.

Honestly, I would have preferred it as well. Again, they're small and hardly noticeable under all of those tattoos. But imagine the media sh*tstorm >.<.

Yeah... shades of Giants: Citizen Kabuto there... topless character suddenly develops bikini not long after release. Big controversy over nipples does not compute for me

You have to choose "English (UK)" during installation to keep her topless. Doing the US install will cover her up. Don't know if the US version gives you the option for a UK isntall though. And yes, I found that pretty hilarious as well, which might be why I still remember it.
Anyway, topless Jack wouldn't have bothered me in the slightest. But then again, a lot of people (*cough*Fox News*cough*) would've probably raised a sh*tstorm about it. Same as same sex romances or a bit of sideboob for the romance scenes.

Edit:
Oh, completely forgot! With Samara's outfit... it all comes down to breast size really. Smaller breasts on a slender frame are much more forgiving on your wardrobe choice overall.  Having larger breasts doesn't say you cannot go with a bit of cleavage, but that "split" style really shouldn't be done. It just makes you look bad. If Samara were a normal woman, she wouldn't be able to go without a decent bra either. Ironically, adding a nice bra would make the whole outfit look at least a bit better on her...

Long enough to actually look like a small black vest rather than Jack choosing the wrap her torso in a black bin bag ;P.

Yeah, I don't remember having a UK version option. Pity, ah well.

What I like about Jack's loyalty outfit is the fact that *it is actually a unique outfit opposed to a color-swap.

Actually, it isn't. I was actually dissapointed how her supposed new outfit was just a new texture-map over the existing model.
If you look closely, you'll still see her old belt-over-nipples-costume underneat the new leather costume. BioWare just dropped a new texture-map over Jack's model with an extra 'bump-map' (3d experts know what I mean) to make it look like she has a whole new costume, but she really doesn't.

I know, it's just a small detail and I really shouldn't be bothered about it, but still, I was a bit dissapointed about it.

How about the high heels in heavy combat? Not very immersive.

To be fair its not like they are stilleto heels. They are more like cowboy boot heels.

Garrus decided to join the crew of the ridiculously wealthy Cerberus's new ship and somehow can't get them to issue him a suit of armor that isn't ruined- but they'll happily paint it for him, once he settles old grudges.

The silly high heels on Samara and the camel-toe Miranda outfit just show that there's no logic to any of the uniforms. If my femShep with her military background and discipline saw these people walking around on her ship, the first thing she would do is order them the best, most protective gear that money could buy. The spandex and rubber suits would find themselves smashed into those little cubes in Zaeed's room. And Cerberus, as we are often reminded throughout the gameplay, could probably buy any given planet if they so chose.

Nevertheless, they're considerably high heels for what their purpose is. Which in itself requires that you have to divert a bit of your attention from "killing the enemy while not being killed yourself" to "not falling over and breaking your ankles in the process", no matter how good you are at walking around in heels. Unless you have mass effect fields that take care of that for you, no sane woman would even think of wearing those into combat.

Edit:
Miranda's outift actually makes sense (sans heels). She's not really a soldier type, so I guess excessive armour would only weigh her down. A form-fitting jumpsuit is just perfect for her IMO. Replace the heels with some light trainers with decent grip and she'd be good to go. Samara on the other hand... I don't know what's gotten into the designers' minds
