This is where Zaeed and Kelly, and especially Joker shine of course, they have a comment about every completed mission, and Joker about the loyalty missions as well.

You can thank the right wing, bible thumping morons for the toned down sex scenes. There was apparently a huge outcry over half a second of bare Asari ass and side-boob in the first ME so Bioware had to go PG with this one as far as sexuality is concerned. Oh, but don't worry about your poor yeoman or some random colonist being graphically melted alive by nano robots. Violence is cool kids, sex is naughty and will make you go blind.

I apologize for the rant, that just really gets my blood boiling. I agree with you that the squad member dialogue seemed a bit lazy at times. It made me miss just shootin' the breeze with Wrex on the old Normandy.

ME2 still has a mature rating, regardless of the toned down sex scenes.

And you should apologize for you rant, because it's doubtful you even watched the Fox News segment about it. They weren't criticizing the game as much as they were giving parents a heads up to the content that is in a lot of these new games, because a lot of them don't have a clue. And obviously ME1 was a prime example.

Blame the American right wing all you want, it was other countries that tried to ban the game due to a lesbian sex scene that really forced Biowares hand in the sequel. They want as many countries to buy their game as possible.

I've seen the segment and probably every parody of it on the internet.  The headline reads:  "SE"XBOX?  NEW VIDEO GAME SHOWS FULL DIGITAL NUDITY AND SEX.  Jeff Keighly from Spike TV dismissed these claims as false and was laughed at and undermined by some snarky **** who'd never even played the game.  This woman was so out of touch with reality she believed that only adolescent boys played video games and that they were the target audience and her only debating point was some useless University of Maryland study which somehow proves that people can't distinguish between real life and a video game if they haven't experienced the situation in real life.
I blame the American right wing not just for demonizing media content and wanting to be able to tell people what they can or cannot watch/play, but for essentially hamstringing us.  Even now they're trying to keep the status quo by preventing legislation that could make life better for all Americans, not just the rich.  But that's a discussion for another kind of forum.  And which countries were trying to ban the game for lesbian sex scene?  I'm guessing Austrailia, but I've pretty much come to expect that from their government at this point.

I guess the point I was trying to make was that I don't like being told how to live my life, and when a large media group uses false information to further their own agenda it really pisses me off.

ME3 will be nothing but ONE response and ONE conversation with every crew member every time... even with yourself.

I'm not going to completely derail this into a political debate, but blaming censorship or "being told how to live your life" on one group of people in the country while pretending that the others aren't just as much to blame for it is just ignorant or naiive.  Yeah the fox news report was ridiculous, but that doesn't mean that it was a bunch of "bible thumping morons" that caused the change.  Making sweeping generalizations and insults about one group of people, especially when blaming them for something that members from every part of the continuum are responsible for doesn't help your argument.

Anyway, back to the topic.  I agree about the conversations with the squadmates as well as the lack of their own individual interactions.  I would love to see a slightly smaller cast of characters in the next game, but with more detailed conversations and would like to see them interact with each other more as well.

I also do really miss being able to talk to your squadmates during missions, that is one of the things i miss the most from the first game.

Moving crewmates around randomly is one of those things that sounds good on paper, but could be frustrating in real life. Imagine schlepping all the way down to the main battery only to find Garrus wasn't there.

Yeah, I was hoping Garrus and I could have some "bro" time together.

Apparently, I was the only one who wanted that.

It's not even the government. It's one guy: Micheal Atkinson, the Attorney General of South of Australia.

You see, THIS is why our Constitution hardly exists anymore. This is the kind of stuff that slowly pushes a country into a new "inquisitional" dark age.

On one side, you have right wingers who are trying to firther their groups influence on the greater stage. Using religeon as a base point for instilling fear on the masses. Religeon in it's on right is a way to force power on individuals, no matter how you put it, religeon is a forced set of rules you must follow to be granted something else. It's like a trivial treasure hunt that goes nowhere.

On the other side, you have parents of children whos base point of reference are studies done YEARS ago that hold no relevancy and the Church (which has no right being introduced into a political disscusion).

This is why we need to put Darwin's Law back into affect, the idiots and morons need to die so that the fittest can survive without having to hold them up on their crutch.

It was REALLY frustrating that just talking with Jacob and not being a total a-hole amounted to romancing him. I couldn't stand Jacob, but my femshep was all like "I'm more interested in just 'talking' for a bit" *suggestive smirk, seductive lean against the table*.

Ugh. SO frustrating.

And if you decide not to romance one of the manceable characters, they just shut down after a bit and won't talk to you anymore. Can't we just be friends? Aren't I still a siha, even if we don't bump (really) uglies in my quarters?

The only party member that really came across as...well...lacking for me was Garrus, doubly so after our numerous manversations in ME1 :(. Perhaps Jacob, too but to a lesser extent...

This was one of my major frustrations.  I would have romanced him if I could have done it without the attitude before you even knew anything about him.  Why they did this, I'll never understand.

I agree, friends would be great.  I did like that in DA.  and I enjoyed the banter between everyone.  I love ME and ME2 more so tat DA, but it could have been even better.
