I hope so. If an alien shows up at my door with junk mail, I'll either invinte her in for drinks (and then phone and thank NASA immensly ) or give him a swift kick. and then complain to NASA

That is still carving, just with electrons into gold wiring.  Besides they are taking our tax dollars so you would rather they not send our names at all?

Oh hell yes, I forgot I was using American tax money for this! Makes it even better! 
Now... I want a dried up lake named after me... perhaps a rover... yes, a rover will do.

Well when the aliens invade I'll just blame Canada then.  I would blame the Netherlands too, but that doesn't sound as good.
