Pretty much what the title says but specifcally i want to know how do i make Logahin or Alisatir, (not that i wanna sacrafice Alisatir), just how do i make them sacrafice themselves do i just have to have them in my party or do i have to 100% approval with them?
Any help is appreciated!

Unhardened Alistair will sacrifice himself, and override the PC. She can do nothing to stop him.
Hardened Alistair and Loghain will try to talk your PC into letting themselves be the one to kill the archdemon. The PC can agree nor not, it's up to the player.
Of course, you can never ever have both, Alistair and Loghain, in your party at the same time.
As you can tell, my PCs are women, but I'm pretty sure that it works the same for male PCs.

They both volunteer to take the blow(whoever is in your party) regardless of their approval. They must be in your party and not at the gates(duh)

Not really. I had an unhardened alistar that didn't sacrifice himself and went with the dark ritual.
If it makes any difference, I had anora alone on the throne.

Sorry. To make it clear - unhardened and romanced Alistair will sacrifice himself and override the femPC. The only way to prevent that is leaving him at the gates.
