Question about obtaining the "Blood Dragon Armor"

I was thinking about buying a copy of Dragon Age: orgin and acquiring a "Bood Dragon Armor".
This Bioware's game looks interesting and I will have even access to a cool, and efficient, armor for Mass Effect 2.
This is my question:
Can I buy the standard edition of the game or is the armor obtained only with a Dragon Age Collector Edition copy?
Thank You for your assistance.

Long story short: Grab the standard edition new, pop in the game, and redeem the code through the main menu, and you should have the Blood Dragon Armor in ME2.

You'd only need to buy the standard edition of Dragon Age: Origins to get the code for Blood Dragon Armor. However, you'd have to buy it new to get the code. Also, because of the way the code works, you'll need to redeem the code through the game's Downloadable Content option in the game's main menu. This is because the code that you get is only a 16 digit code. XBox Live codes are 25 digits long. The code works in-game because the game connects to the EA servers, not the XBox Live servers.
Long story short: Grab the standard edition new, pop in the game, and redeem the code through the main menu, and you should have the Blood Dragon Armor in ME2.
I read about the "16 digits issue". If think I read it's possible to redeem the code via Bioware web site like I did for Mass Effect 2 Collector Armor and Assualt rifle, but accessing the game main menu seems quicker.
Thank you for yout help. I'll buy the game as soon as possible.
I'm a Boware fan since Knights of the Old Republic.

Just make sure you buy it new. That's the key.
I just downloaded it. Wonderful Armor. The power damage bonus is impressive
Thank You again for your help.

Depends entirely on your class. My low-level Insanity Soldier was better off with the Cerberus Armor, whereas my Engineer benefits more from the Blood Dragon Armor (in my opinion, of course).
More to the point, the Blood Dragon is the *coolest* looking non-N7 armour-set, and thats important too

The Blood Dragon armor gives +15% Power Damage, which makes it amazing for classes using Biotics and Tech attacks. On weapon-oriented classes (such as the Soldier), it's not quite as useful.
