Question about DA ending for female char.

Currently Im playing DA with female char. I started it before DAA was anounced, I don't feel like starting again from the start, but would like to import my char inte DAA. What I wonder is:
Does Morrigan also provide a chance for a ritual for female char or is it only restricted to male chars? I want to make Alistar a king this time, and don't want to kill myself in order to import char later on.

Only a male can do the ritual with Morrigan.

What?! Obviously the female can't do the deed herself having the wrong chromosone and all, but she can talk one of the guys into doing it.

A bug. Kind of like how Alastair breaks up with you if you are male.

I almost pity Morrigan six months later when she realizes she isn't pregnant and the whole dark ritual was for naught. Almost.

Well, you would be dead by then.

Mod on dragonagenexus, which means females can marry the queen, or do the ritual.
I believe the original question was whether or not a female could do the Ritual with Morrigan, not if it could be done using cheats or Mods. So the answer is: only a male Warden can do the Ritual - not taking into account if you use Mods/cheats or having bugs, then I suppose anything can happen.

How about not mentioning a bug as evidence that it's what the designers intended.Maria Caliban wrote...

It's more than a mod. It has something to do with Loghain being in your party, but you can still select "Alistair will do it" dialogue. Since Alistair's not there, the game goes to the next available party member which is you.

Well, the question is a little ambiguous. A female character CAN agree to the ritual, she just has to talk a male warden into doing it. Can she perform it herself or is there an alternative ritual? No.
She must persuade the male Warden to do the act (if agreed to) with Morrigan. Agreed, the original question may appear a bit ambiguous.

If you spare Loghain, get him to agree to the ritual, and then pick Alistiar for the ritual.

Right. Can a female Warden complete the ritual with Morrigan? Yes. That it's a bug doesn't change the fact that it can be done.

Let me try to find the words ‘designer intent’ in my post. Oh, IT’S NOT THERE.
How about not sticking words in the mouths of other posters?
