Dragon Age- Awakening Play Time

Only thing I'm wondering is the play-time, I had somewhere around 40-50hours per play through on Origins but read somewhere that this will be ~20hours, which doesn't seem like a fair amount for the same price, just wondering if anyone can clarify and put my mind at ease.
Thanks guys,
Hawndo

If you don't know then why try to answer? You just spread misinformation. You did not read this anywhere. At least nowhere reliable/credible.Eli-da-Mage wrote...

The correct answer is we really don't know. We have only speculation and even if we did have an estimate peoples playtime always varies wildly.
However it will most certainly not be as long as Origins. Not even close. This is an expansion. If you are worried about the length of time wait to buy it until after it comes out and you can hear from several sources how long it took them.

And how would you definately know i havent read this and why do you not just say we dont know how long its going to be rather than be such a ******* about it? Cant you just say something without making it sound aggresive or are you just a forum troll with no real life?Shady314 wrote...

Don't be upset because you are revealed as a liar. Judging by your other stellar posts thus far ( All 9's) I think it's clear who's trolling. But perhaps you'd prefer to bring this to the attention of a moderator and let them decide?Eli-da-Mage wrote...

I only just figured out the 9s things and theyre kinda funny. Besides have you read my actual answers or just the nines part. Besides i wasn't trying to lie. As i said i thought i read this and perhaps i read it from a liars post and believed it was true. I am trying to pass on the correct answer because i want to know the answer to this too. You assume im lying and rather than just camly saying no that is wrong you have to make me sound stupid. Why do you need to do that? Is it neccesary to shout? If somebody in real life tells you something wrong that they think its right would you act like this to them or do you just do it here because people dont know who you actually are?Shady314 wrote...

Edit: The whole would you rather let a moderator decide doesn't bother me. If the moderator has any sense they will not simply rule out the possiblility i might have believed this is true as you have. Why would i lie about it if it concerns me too? As for the OPs original question i have heard what i said is true but as you can see there must be strong facts against it which i have not been shown by anybody so i am unsure.

Thank you for being calm about this. Since there is no actual information and this is just a rumour will you moan at him like you moaned at me for posting what i had heard.Marbazoid wrote...
I'm not aware of any official statement about how long an Awakening play through may take, but there's word going around that it could be in the 10-15 hour region.

Devs have stated between 15-20 hours....possibly longer if your a slow player.
Thanks for all the replies guys, just wondering if they stated if this was main story-wise or full side-quests aswell?
Still going to be buying it since I loved the first one, and since I just checked there it's actually cheaper than origins so all is good
Thanks all,

Wrong, in one of the linked interviews it was stated...instead of being a butt, look it up yourself.

About the cost of Awakening being $40. There is a fixed cost associated with any released product. I would say that half of that $40 was to put the burned DVD into the box with the glossy thin manual and then shipping them out to distributors, not mention the advertisements and what not. The DLC's were cheaper in comparison because no DVD's needed to be burned or manuals printed up or boxes distributed. Everything for DLC's was done over the Internet.
