Probably the entire dialogue and scene in the human noble origin, when your talking to your dying father and mother, and then leaving them behind. The game had me emotional from the beginning.

Much agree. I was actually moved by the whole dialogue. One of my PCs romanced him and had him at 100 approval. At the end I was going to leave him because I was taking my PC to the final battle alone and Zevran says "do you not want me by your side, in the end" or some variation of that with this saddening expression. I'm not very emotional when it comes to games but that moment actually gave me pause before I could choose a response. Following up with the dragon and "I love you" comments on top of that, Zevran's responses were heartfelt. So very different from the Zev you meet at the beginning. I'm gonna miss that freakin elf.

Dammit, I'm gonna have to run it again and romance the guy. I keep meaning to, but end up not resisting Alistair. I just wish Zev's main romantic thing happened sooner than the darned Landsmeet/Denerim part.

When Morrigan gives you the friendship speech, and how she may not always be worthy of your friendship. Changed my whole view of her, so yeah, I'd call that moving.

The dialogue before Loghain gets executed always makes me feel so bad for it. "Shh, Anora. Daughters always remain seven years old with scraped knees and pig-tails." It also makes me wonder if Anora ever truly was in danger from her father. I doubt it. The only danger to her was probably Howe.

When Tamlen touches the mirror in the Dalish origin, I always end up shrieking. "NOOOO TAMLEN. DON'T DO IT. I LOOOVE YOU. ~sob~"

The final moment with Gorim as a dwarven noble before getting sentenced to the deep roads.

And the Gauntlet, as either a mage PC or a human noble. Both of them always make me tear up. Jowan telling you how he forgives you. Or Bryce telling you how he loves you.

Aaaand, when you find Cullen in the Circle of Magi as a mage origin female. I always want to jump through the barrier and give him a hug and be like "But.. But. I love you. Don't hate me or go insane and kill the mages just because I'm going to spare them. They're my family, and I love them too. ~sob~"

This. And as someone said, the last conversation with the HN's parents was heartbreaking. My HNF, Alessia, promised her father she'd join the Wardens and stop the Blight for him. She was my first PC, and she ended up becoming my favorite.

"Couslands always do our duty first." One of my very favorite quotes, along with Jowan's line in the Sacred Ashes temple. I felt so guilty handing the guy over to the mages during Redcliffe as a mage after.

To me it was Leliana telling me of what Marjolaine did to her. The sad, hurt look on her face and her voice made me want to hug her. Then find Marjolaine and burn her alive at a stake. And then go to Orlais and slaughter every single Chevalier/prison guard I can find. (DA2, Bioware. Make it happen!)



Zevran telling me of his past was quite moving too.

Im torn 3 ways between the scene where isolde kills her son, Alistaire rips you a new one at camp for making her Isolde kill her son, or where Zev finally tells you about that mission he didn't want to mention. All 3 had me wanting to take back my choices so far in the game to spare them from my evil and callousness lol.

For me, the most moving scene is when the Lady (Witherfang)  acsends and is no more.. Gets me every time..

I just got to Anora's speech heading into battle. I'd hear Alistair's before but not hers. It was pretty awesome, I got chills. And I generally hated her most other playthroughs, but making her queen I paid more attention and talked with her more. Darn her for making me see her differently, but yeah, her rally speech was moving.

For me also, the dialogue between my PC and my Cousland parents just before leaving them to go with Duncan. The bravery displayed by Eleanor (spelling) Cousland when she states she will kill everyone that enters the room to defend her husband, aways moves me. What a brave and proud women. More very moving moments: Battle at Ostagar, Cailan and Duncan, Alistair's comments to your PC after waking up from your injuries in Flemeth's hut: 'You, you're alive......', Alistair telling your PC ....'Maker's breath but you're beautiful'..one of my favs by far.

She does it when she's queen and Loghain is dead. And when I play, other than for achievement purposes...Loghain is dead:devil:

Absolutely! All of them get to me. I just wish, when Alistair is talking about Duncan saving him from the chantry he'd finish his sentence eventually

I have never gotten her speech, I had to go look it up on youtube. I've made her Queen on two play throughs and it was Alister giving the speech both times.

Hmm...Wonder if thats one of the fixes in the mod I've been using lately, it fixes some bugs in Alistair's dialog, especially post landmeet. I forget the link...

Apparently it is.

For me the most moving thing was the Dialouge between the PC and Alistar as you decide who will kill the ArchDemon, the option "I cant let you do that." Really fit well with the advice my PC got from the HN Origin "Couslands always do thier duty."
