Would I prefer a character that's Shepard's friend and has completed ME1 and ME2 alongside him, or 'a Turian' I know nothing about? Hard choice.

I would choose Garrus. I don't care if the other Turian is a powerful biotic or anything rare in Turian society I would still pick Garrus. Why not have both though? We only have more than one human and only one of the other species. I'd like that to change.

I must've completed ME1 over 5 times and I rarely used Garrus. ;\\ Then in ME2 I thought he was pretty cool but I'd still pick Wrex over him anyday.

I like Garrus, mainly due to the fact that he is Turian. Though Honestly, in terms of cool looks (especialy his looks in ME2 suck du eto unofrtunate events) I can find at least 3 that I'd like to have on my squad:

- Turian Spectre (Killed by Saren in ME)
- Saren (But he's dead, lol, wouldn't mind meeting his brother though, could be a nice mix for conversations)
- Council Member

Garrus is part of my normaly group, witch is him and tali, always has been sence me 1, so yeah i would most likely still use meh bro. I would like to see  the other Turrian he fondly talked about, " she had flexabilty..." as a squadmate. I am sure the banter would be funny as hell.

Garrus will be with me until the end.  I played through most of ME1 with him, alot of ME2, and took him with me to the final boss in both games.  The only way he will be in danger of not being used in ME3 is if we get to have both Wrex and Grunt.  If that happens, I will be whoopping some ass with the two baddest Krogans in the universe at my side.

That could be difficult since his brother died in the First Contact War which causes Saren to hate all humans.  If you read the Mass Effect book, Revelation, you learn that...as well as some other very interesting things.

Did not read Revelation but the GF and my self suspected there was something with the frist contact war for Saren to hate humans,  ether he was in it and lost a squad or a famly memeber died.. now that I know it is the later ..


Personaly, i would not mind seeing another turrian on the ship.

I doubt it, since he was the youngest Spectre ever made (around 20 or so, I think?) and I don't think Spectres have much time for raising kids. And Saren doesn't strike me as the fatherly type. He'd be more likely to eat little kids for breakfast.

However, isn't Saren in his 40's when he dies. Also a fling when he was young could have resulted in a child.

Turians are awkward and weird. Garrus is awesome not because he's a turian, but because he's genuinely a cool bro. Unless he/she were especially cool, there'd be little comparison.
