Hi there,

I have installed DA and the patch. 
In the first place I couldn't launch the game via Start Up menu.

Then I installed a hotfix the hotfix discriped in some other topic -->

But now I have problems with the authentication of the disc.

When I want to start the game it says: Failed to authenticate the disc. Please insert the correct disc and try again.

Well I put for now 5 times my disc 1 and disc 2 in my CD but the box appears every time when I want to run the game.

Try going into your device manager and finding the ide/ata channel your cdrom drive is installed to. Should be under something like IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers . Once you find it check and see if DMA mode is enabled under properties/ advanced settings. If it is try disabling it and if it isn't try enabling it. If that doesn't work you may have to try a different CDROM drive or use alternative means....

There seems to be another possible solution if that doesn't work. You'll likely have to uninstall the version you have and then get the EA download manager from here:

and register your game key with it. It should then download a digital version that doesn't require the DVD to play
