I'm gonna take a wild guess and say a thread has not been posted about this topic yet.
After Morrigan joins your party and right before you get to Lothering there is a vid scene.  Loggy goes on about rallying to him and Teagan gets all up in his grill so to speak.  Here's the funny part... when they cut to a panoramic view of all the other nobles there are a bunch of them that are clones.  Twins if not Triplets!!!  So many of them!!! What magic is this? What possible conspiracies are a brew here?  It's like a X-Files, Fringe, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc gone wild. EVVVVVIIIILLLLLLL!!!!Image IPB

Maker help you if you say a wizard, witch, or warlock did it!!!

It's an Orlesian plot to replace all the nobles with clones.

It's obvious most Fereldans reproduce asexually, with only the most important and plot relevant being able to afford such luxuries as mates and distinguishing features.

I noticed this too was a bit ticked off about it because they didn't even try to change anything about them.

Many of the girls here would say that Bann Teagan commands so much attention that you shouldn't even look at all the background nobles.

Wait . . . there are background nobles?

Actually, I have to admit I never noticed it at all.  But the background nobles really look to be a part of the scenery, whereas Bann Teagan IS obviously the forefront.  First time I saw the scene I was like, "WOW!"  It says a lot about Ferelden nobility, though, that they don't just cowtow to the regent.

lol The sexyness of Teagan wipes out all other images in that scene for me. But the last time I played I started noticing the others in the background, yep there seem to be only about 8 or so figures who are just duplicated to make more. That is still my favorite cut scene in the game. An animation short cut to fill out the room but I have also noticed the 'armies' marching to Denerim do the same thing. The Redcliffe knight with the beard repeats about 4 times at least while walking by the peasant bidding his wife and son goodbye. I point him out mostly cause hes the most easily distinguished in the crowd. Same with the dwarves, elves and mages.

is it any surprise that nobility is inbred?

and everyone in Fereldan wears the same boring stuff. Loghain killed couture by chasing off the Orlesians.

I saw twin dwarves in the Assembly when I crowned Bhelen last night too. Still not as cheesy as the 'crowd' at the Proving though.
