I just downloaded Warden's Keep. It will full download and extract but never appears under the installed tab. I can't run the config utility due to a C++ runtime error so I can't use the repair utility. I'm at a loss as to what I can do now as I can't find the exact problem anywhere else.

You can manually clean your download cache by going to the following directory and deleting the DAUpdater directory.

XP and Vista: C:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\All Users\\\\Application Data\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\
Win 7: C:\\\\Users\\\\All Users\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age

Also the following have been known to interfere with DLC installation.

* If your My Documents directory is located on a non-C: drive (particularly if its a network drive), move it back to the default location.

* Set your Windows Region and Language settings to English (United States)

* Delete My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings\\\\Manifest.xml

* As a last resort try deleting My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings\\\\Addins.xml, though that will cause all your DLC to redownload/install.

Attempting to manually download and install the DLC can also usually give better error messages as to what might be going wrong.

Attempted all these things, the Download will still finish but go no further. How do I manually download the DLC? I can't find a link.

Tried a manual install. Got both bars full then installer crashed. Opened DA:O and now it shows Installing but has been that way for the last 10 minutes, unsure if it is now stuck. Any other suggestions?

Try installing the beta fix for the DA Updater. If the updater is crashing even on a manual install that is likely your underlying problem.

It gives me a better error now but still doesn't work.

This bit appears to be the problem:

at DAUpdater.Engine.Content.ContentInstaller.InstallContent(InstallInfo installInfo, Boolean bDeleteAfterInstall)

I assume you've checked that My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings\\\\addins.xml is writable, it looks like it might be a file permissions problems, but its not something I've seen before. There doesn't actually seem to be an actual error in there, it just fails.

I just went into configure, repair, delete download cach. It's redownloading right now. Perhaps this time it will work.
