After recently updating my system to Windows 7 I resintalled ME1, ME2 and DA. All three programs work great with one slight issue. For some unknown reason when I put my CD Key for Bring Down the Sky into the ME1 DLC installer it accepts the key then states installation cancelled. I would like to be able to get a character of each class completed in ME1 for use in ME2 with the DLC extra bonus for the news stories you get. Any information available as to WHY this is happening?

I bought ME1 with Bringing down the sky in the box (well... according to the box anyway, says it's included) But I can't find out where to download it. How do I install/download it? I can't find it =S



There is a second disc in the box I bought, which I didn't use when I installed the game. When I try it, it's just the normal setup (Launcher for ME1 pops up)



Doing anything wrong here??

I've experienced this problem myself, although that was before Patch 1.02 was released. When I reinstalled the game, I made sure to install the patch first, then BDtS, and everything worked perfectly.

I do run as admin mode, I have patch 1.02 installed as well. After attempting to install and entering my CD Key it just goes to the message installation cancelled.

It can be a pain to find the ME1 dlc tho i found it took to long tho its so ez to get the dlc for ME2 and dragon age i don't see why they don't link it with them ?

Dragon Age runs on its own engine, developed within the Bioware studios, and thus the DLC fetch mechanism was built into it. ME and ME2 run on the Unreal3 engine, developed by Epic Games, and as such does not have a DLC fetch mechanism built in.
