I don't want a Howe in my party.. I'd rather slit his throat just like his father/uncle/whoever the arl was
Whayt do you think?

I really hope that i get to kill Urtha painfully.. She is a moron and a pathetic fool.
(she is from the calling)

I also hope Morrigan returns, even if she doesn't join the party itself..

I'm so excited about the Howe storyline, it really is becoming the primary focus of my Awakening anticipation now. I don't plan to kill him right away... I want to see what they have written played out.

Depending on exactly how the initial meeting plays out between this new Howe and my Human Noble, I hope to at least have the option to slaughter him outright. I'm not saying that will be my first choice, but I really do hope that it will be there should I want it.

And when, in the future, we tell him to gtfo (of camp), I really hope he resists.

I'm interested in how Bioware is planning on creating a compelling character who sympathizes with a completely unsympathetic character (namely the late Arl Howe). This Howe-sympathizer is obviously missing a few pieces of the story, and how he interacts with a Human Noble character should prove dramatic, to say the least. Honestly, I think my Human Noble Warrior would probably swing an axe into this guy's face 10 seconds after meeting him. I'm anxious to see what reason Bioware gives me to do otherwise.

Not to thrilled by the prospect of a Howe in my party, but I'm willing to see how this plays out. I at least want to see what they do to keep my HN rogue from stabbing him straight in the face.

Yeah as much as my Cousland might not like anyone with the name Howe, I'll give him a chance. Throwing a bunch of conflicting personalities into a party is what often makes Bioware games great.

And yes, I too want to see more Morrigan- although I think the absolute most we'll get might be some teaser at the end of Awakening to set up whatever they're working on next.

I hated Morrigan with a passion. She was a ****. This Howe guy may not necessarily be bad. My dwarf will not care either way.

I'd hold some hostilities, I wouldn't apologize to him and hug him like the paladin-character I am. I'd understand he wasn't the one responsible for my family's murder.

Yeah cause it was Nathaniel's fault. I bet you have a relative that did something horrible, you think YOU deserve to be punished for his mistake?

UTHA made a choice that sort of made sense from her point-of-view. If you think she is a moron and pathetic fool then you missed the point.

She won't return, at least not in Awakening.

I won't kill him outright (unless, he'll be hitting my berserk button), but I'll have my Cousland terorrize and insult him at every single step of the journey. It's gonna be fun.

I personally can't wait to get him in my party. I want to see how the situation plays out between them. It should be very interesting.

My HNF holds no grudge against Howe's family. I'm pretty sure she and Nathaniel will have a love-hate thing going on.

Of what relation is Nathaniel to the Howes? Is he a cousin or something?

Iam not judgemental, it was Rendon Howe that detroyed the Couslands. He probably had nothing to do with it. He shouldn't be hated if he had no part in it.

Well, if Nathaniel utters one word about Rendon Howe being a hero infront of Erika Cousland, she will explain, calmly, once why that is wrong. If he presses the point, questions it or tries to justify his position, she will explain again with violence.

Though, given that she'll be lacking her sword, she'll get to do it with her fists! *Cousland smash!*

I applaud Erika's self-control.
Ophelia Cousland will gut the little rat the moment he would try to call R. Howe a hero.

Oh trust me, it's very, very tempting. But such is the life of a Paladin-esque, Goody Goody character. :innocent:

Nathaniel better watch his tongue, if he mentions to Fiona cousland how his uncle/father was a hero despite all the murders he committed she will be punting him of the walls of the keep.

Thats unfortunate. I was hoping she would. As for her choice yes it made sense if you were were twisted which is why the others who were turned eventually saw that The Architect's solution was no solution.

Utha wont be returning?

From David Gaider's novel "The Calling" - both the Architect and Utha
are present in Awakening.

im not going to kill him im going to force him to become a grey warden, something the howes apparently resent along with orlesians. irony is the best form of punishment

I think my human noble will be content with him at first. But if he spews out how great Rendon was or whatever, I think I will just make him a head shorter.

Check out the spacing in the post and it makes sense.  In the last sentence the SHE refers to Morrigan not Utha.  Utha will be in it.  Morrigan will not be returning.  I do believe that is what they were refering to.
