Dragon Age Origins 2 it's along way off but isn't it better for ideas to be put accross early? I was day dreaming again. I do that a lot. So Dragon Age Origins 2 I've read may use a new engine. I hear this would make importing a characters and items from DAO to DAO2 extremely difficult. What instead if unlocked achievements from Dragon Age Origins 1 unlock extra content in Dragon Age Origins 2. Such as Rings, Armour weapons etc. I assume this would be easier as a achievements are server side saved too. Just think the more achievements you unlock in this game the more unique items you'll start off within the sequel.
I'm no game developer so I don't have a clue if it's easy or hard to do so....
Good idea or bad idea?

And even if we can't import our characters, they could still include a simple optional questionary for the player to answer when starting a new game, asking his choices in the main events of the first Dragon Age (so that the world could still reflect the player choices).

I don't think DA2 should have anything todo with DA:O except for the lore. achievements in DA:O should grant benefits in DAO not DA2.
