Who elsed watched the Oscars tonight? And what were your thoughts?
Aside from the screenplay Oscars going to The Hurt Locker and Precious (I expected Inglorious Basters/Up in the Air), I thought all the noms were really easy to predict this year.

Yeah, most of them were pretty obvious, especially Avatar winning technical awards. But Precious, ugh. I hated that movie.

Didn't watch the show, but I'm just glad that a movie that had some actual thought behind it swept the big categories and Avatar only picked up the wins it actually deserved.
