Hidden Liara dialogue. DLC after redemption, maybe? *possible spoilers*

As an archeologist specialised in a highly advanced civilisation, I'd say sifting though stored data, rather than traces in soil, is just what Liara has always been doing, so she'd be very much in her own environment there, as far as analysis go, maybe not so much the people part, but that'd be all hush-hush, no meeting in person anyway.
It seems the character is exactly where she is needed the most and has the most to contribute - not every battle is storming through a corridor, guns blazing. Knowledge is power and Shepard is going to need every scrap of it that (s)he can get.

Well there were references to BDtS in ME2, it wouldn't surprise me if DLC had some impact on ME3

I only got an email from that scientist woman, did I miss something? Thats only a small thing aswell, anything with Liara or any of the characters is potentially huge, personally I cant see them having something like that as DLC that not everyone will get to experience going into ME3.

Umm, Liara does speak of the collectors in past tense in these snippets. I can't see why a post-extinction explanation for the Harbinger/collectors interest would be any worse than having it before - quite the contrary.

The Collectors were trying for your body two years ago. That's past-tense right there.

A news blurb. Either a celebration of your saving of the colony with a mention that the Batarian is still at large, or a memorial service for the two hostages you let die.

Yep, that last issue of the comic MIGHT change that, but I doubt it.
Just seemed like a plot device.
Anyway....... This hidden dialogue is some weird stuff.
If I was a gambling man (which I'm not) I would say it does have to do with DLC.
No proof, of course.

I think it's DLC dialogue that's needed on the disc (aka anything involving her on illium). As for the Collector's line, think of it like Tali's dialogue before the sex scene, where she talks about giving her more time. Then, after you do the dirty deed, she just says thank you. I'm sure after you beat the Collectors she won't say it anymore.
Yeah, she thanks you. Talk to her again... it's her "are you sure you want to do this?" dialogue again. They aren't making the game recognize that you beat the game already. Every person has 1 new line of dialogue regarding your handling of the base. Tali(and apparently Jacob) each have 1 more line if you romanced them. Beyond that, there is zero recognition that the mission is over. From anyone. Story-wise, after you beat the Collectors and talk to TIM, ME2 is complete, and anything done afterward is just retconned into the middle of the mission story-wise.

I'll just point out that I was writing that post, before you turned the discussion around, while people were strictly complaining about how the DLC would, in their minds, only work pre endgame.
I'm not that fast a typist...

At the same time though it makes limited sense, given that any squadmates and crew members that died during the mission are still dead.CmdrFenix83 wrote...

Nothing post-game beyond those 1-line dialogues indicates that the mission was completed successfully. You can still go around and do missions. You can even go recruit people that you didn't, talking about needing them for the fight against the Collectors. Again, they're just retconned to be included in the mission.

Nobody is 100% sure where all the anger comes from.
I tell ya why ... she was madly in love with Feron but didn't get a chance to get in his pants cause SB took him downnn ... She tought she loved Shep but later she realized that it was only because she wanted to lose her virginity with a biggest badass in the galaxy... she never felt true love until she met Feron.
I've tried to avoid the truth and fool myself into beliving that there is still ME1 Liara who loves my Shep... but I'm not blind to the turth anymore ...

Considering the comic spans about a week or so and that is about as long as she's known Feron she moves pretty quick!!!!

In the game there are some definitive clues. It is later in the game, if you keep going back and talking to Liara you find out she is out to get the shadow broker because he tried to hurt someone she cared for. That someone is you and the shadow broker double dealt her in some way to try and give your body to the collectors. She doesn't reveal exactly what happened but she is out to take him down for what he tried to do to Shepard. The fact she is a smart capable individual is what has allowed her to become the instrumental person she is. The comic does seem to be elaborating further on the comments you can get in game. I completely did not get the comments on my first playthrough and kept going back to liara and asking questions multiple times until somehow I got a new conversation path.Fat Headed Wolf wrote...

Because her writer thought it would be better to work on The Old Republic rather than continue Mass Effect.

Yeah really. In other words, that ain't happenin. Hell in the comic there was a scene where she looks at Feron and tells him if he's not going to help her retrieve Shepard she's just going to leave him behind.

Naw, she already met the shadow brokers's avatar. I am assuming he works for Cerberus or some other crazy organization. That is supposedly one of the big reveals in the last comic...

They said "big reveals". I doubt we'll see any jaw dropping information.
