Game Informer gave Dragon Age:Origins 9.0

so there must be something they aren't happy about. still we need more reviews to know for sure.

Not bad. The score means nothing though, I'd rather read the actual review.

Eli-da-Mage, please stay on topic. Making nonsensical posting in a thread or taking it off topic is considered SPAM and is not allowed.

I also want to read the review to see what they say.

Eh. I'll just wait till the game comes out to make my own decisions.

. . . . .

I wonder how much the reviewers get paid?

If they got paid it would probably be like, 8.8. Since DA:O was 9.0 But i doubt Bioware would do such a thing.

Wouldn't trust a review that hasn't gone in depth, and just posted a score.

What? I would assume you'd know being Bioware? Oh well. Bioware is not as powerful as i thought! It shall be their downfall. Mwahahaha. Oh sorry off topic again.

7.75? Not too shabby although I still think it's a bit too early for actual reviews to come out.

http://www.nintendoe...hing.com/28598/ Shows DAO was 8 for ps3 and xbox 360 by their review scores. So 7.75 seems good to me.

Numbers are pointless, I want to know the details. Then I can decide for myself thanks.

EDIT: Which is why, while I'm not Kotaku's biggest fan, I really enjoy the way they review games. A list of pros and cons allows me to decide if what bothered the reviewer will bother me.

You are correct. 8.0 for consoles and 9.0 for pc.
We dont know what version they reviewed and gave 7.75.

I have to agree with you on that. I'm not the biggest fan of most of what they do, but the idea of reviewing games via Pro/Con instead of just slapping on a number that doesn't really give context is very important to me.

I mean, the whole problem with numbers is that they tell us something, as 7.75 means that they didn't like it, but it doesn't tell us anything besides that.

I wonder why they didnt just give it 8 out of 10. Still not a bad score but I dont trust it without a proper written review.

No matter what they say I'm still getting it and decide for myself.

And what "info" could they Post about a game that has yet to be released that would not totally spoil the game? A Preview (of a incomplete game) is one thing.

A Pre-Game Review? What the hell is that...

It could be an expansion pack, that may be it.

Ok, a score on its own is meaningless. Where is the written review?
