What are recommended builds for Adepts to play insanity?  I have beaten the game (on insanity) with both a Sentinel and Soldier and was curious to see how an Adept playthrough would be.

For end game:

Heavy Warp

Heavy Throw

Heavy Singularity

Area Pull

1 point in shockwave

Nemesis

Up until then:

A point in each power, maxing passive first, then warp, then sing. Wide singularity until Area Pull.

My sig has a link to a 25-video guide I made a couple weeks after the game came out, if you need a resource.

Your main focus should be Singularity, Warp, and Biotic Mastery (for the 20% recharge bonus).  Throw is a great secondary once all those are maxed, and while Pull is great, rank 1 is good enough if you wish to max your bonus power.

I personally love Warp Ammo as a bonus. Alongside the 2x damage bonus all enemies get while ragdoll'd, the 100% Warp Ammo bonus jmakes enemies caught by a singularity or pull just shredded. It also has that blanket damage bonus for the rest of the time so that your shooting still feels quite potent.

Sounds good! I'm just worried that I'll be constantly warping enemies on insanity though.

For an additional fun build, not really optimal, but fun to use:

Assault Rifle adept with vindicator :

Wide Singularity 4

Bastion 4

Heavy warp 4

Throw 2

Pull 1

Shockwave 3

Tungsten/heavy warp ammo 4

You will mostly use weapons to kill opponents and at long range, shockwave and vindicator is a truly nasty combo. At medium range, you already know how singularity and focus fire can quickly destroy opponents.

This build is mostly focused on firing weapons with power combinations.

Of course, be sure to respec for the IFF reaper mission or geth missions. (For example, don't even put a point into shockwave for IFF reaper, and get energy drain for geth missions).

No, you'll be combo-ing. Keep a singulatity up and strip enemies of their armor/shields/ barrier. Have Miranda use unstable warp to make 'em blow up real good. The alternative is to have Jacob or Samara take pull fied and then have your Shep detonate it.

Pull plus throw or singularity plus throw isa great combo also.

Once you start getting more squad members, you'll find that Miranda takes a backseat over the specialist squadmates against most missions in the game.

Heavy Warp

Heavy Throw

Wide Singularity

1 point in pull

Nemesis

Tungsten Ammo

Gatsby's settup is better for purists, but I prefer my style of gunning what I blast. I prefer using Unstable Warp on my squadmates for warp splosions. What gun did you pick up in the Collector ship/will pick up?

You will be using warp a lot, but mostly for stripping armor/barriers not just spamming it until something dies.  You'll also be using the Pull+Warp combo quite often.  After Horizon I found that I preferred Unstable Warp for most missions, especially the merc heavy ones since they tend to group up and you can catch a lot of them in the warp explosion.

I use:

Wide singularity
Unstable warp
Pull field
Nemesis
Warp Ammo
Assault rifle weapons training with preference for the geth pulse rifle

I max out singularity and warp with 2 points into pull first and then focus on biotic mastery with warp ammo followed by pull. Combining warp with pull or singularity often does the the work throw or shockwave would do for me (even with enemies with armor or shields since they are often knocked down or over ledges) so I do not place any points in throw. Wide singularity also helps with blocking doorways and bridges or holding large groups of husks in place, allowing you to strip their armor off with warp ammo or the M-451.
