They likely have a solution but are spending much more time testing it otherwise people will complain even more if it doesn't fix the problem.

Im of two minds now. Ive played through both games, Origins and Awakening and yes there were bugs, but as an avid roleplayer I was more intrested in the story anyway. Alot of game developers release games these days then fix bugs with update patches which I think is their way of meeting customer demand. I think this game is awsome even in its bugginess. I really hop they iron out the biggest problems just so gameplay can remain uninterrupted. Otherwise Im still giving Awakening both thunbs up :P

Considering the vast number of posts regarding triggers and events not working correctly and warping around for no reason etc. I would think that v1.03 is incredibly ****ed up.

Why have the devs still not patched the game or Awakening so that we can use our DLC gear in Awakening?

Raseri: It's been mentioned more than once that the lack of DLC imports for armour and weapons (RtO excepted) was a deliberate design choice. As such, I can't really see them patching it. I'd settle for the Sentinel Armour not looking like my DLC ;).

After downloading and installing V1.03 I deleted the old V1.02 patch. Too bad it's not available anymore. Since I actually don't want to downgrade, I'll use the community hotfix for the stealing bug for now.

Concerning the expansion: I'll simply wait with buying and playing Awakening until V1.03 and Awakening are repaired.

Why would you want to destroy the balance the devs meticulously developed for the expansion by using DLC items you purchased for Origins, in Awakenings?

yeah, righ! for one is gear i had in game, the fact that a guy in his house and 1 day of work coud do it.

meens that they didnt want to to be inported and they didnt even try to do it.

dot ask me why, because balance isue will only last for 5 hours tops, because of the new gear.
and if balance whas the isue.

they coud have removed every single item you had give you some standar items and thats it.

why let you import your non DLC items them.

In other topic, i have stoped playing DA:O until they patch, the fix to Stealing and Dog, the problems with awakening. etc.

at least i have ME2 to play for a long time.

Am I being too optimistic to hope that the reason we haven't seen a new patch yet is because they are trying to destroy as many bugs as possible in one fel swoop?

My only real complaint right now is that I can only play about 20 minutes before teh stuttering gets too annoying to play. If Bioware can provide a hotfix for that one issue I will be content until 1.04 comes out.

You're lucky to get 20 minutes! I'm jealous haha.

Definitely agreed though, a hotfix would be ideal, or perhaps an announcement that a patch is even being worked on.

I'm sure hoping this is the case. Would be hard to support their future efforts if they can't even fix the bugs in the original game! Seems crazy to me that users are able to fix some of this stuff in mods before Bioware does...

I really, really doubt it. But then again, I'm a cynic.

i think that they did not think before or after they mase that last patch and did not care if anuthing works at all.

i am so happy that there are gamers in the world who actually is that good that they can fix problems that bioware cant , so other gamers can enjoy the game.

bioware ...... should be wery sad that they dont have peoble with those skills.

they make a game and some things folks can buy to it and then a patch and another part to the game and dont care if peoble bought anything they just launch it,

really

com on now

get a grib bioware.

The stealing patch doesn't fix the problem 100%, maybe 80% yeah but not 100%. I still sometimes get the message I got an item but no status update or new item. Sometimes it will give me the item, Dog works 80% as well at finding and giving items too.

I dont know if its been mentioned before but try turning the music OFF. I had a CTD last night and because the music was stuttering I had a though to turn it off. So I did and I didn't have a CTD for the rest of last night's session (1.5 hours)

Last night's CTD occured during the final fight in the Anvil of the Void quest if its relevant.

I'm going to carry on without Music for now see if just a fluke, I'll report back iun a few days.

You are not answering my question Vincent. How do I reinstall the digital deluxe version of the game, the one that I paid $70 for that did not save to my hard drive. For whatever reason EA doesn't allow the digital version to save to my computer, when I download it.

If you are not going to answer my question I am going to contact Senators Wyden and Merkley of Oregon and file a formal complaint of Internet fraud. I will also contact the Oregon Attorney General. Oh, and by the way, I have friends in the local media. I don't think EA wants any negative publicity?!? Answer my question and answer it exceedingly promptly.

Which stealing patch?  I've been playing a rogue with my stealing fix installed and have yet to see an "empty" success.  Similarly, I've yet to see a dog interaction with my dog fix that claimed to find an item never reward an item (or copper).

Same with mine. Are you using anything else that modifies the stealing skill? If you play around in the toolset you may need to clean out your toolsetexport folder.
